Would you lie/not tell the truth about a purchase?

Apparently it is the classic one according to my Amazon emails.
OP how do you know it is £100 off tomorrow? Based on last year's discount or another reason?
If you are basing it on last year then I wouldn't hope too much. The deals aren't as good this year as they were last year apparently.
For instance the Guylian chocolates earlier, £10 for the box. Last year £5 for the same box. Double the price.
Based on last years prices yes and the chat on quick grabbit board. got the chocs added to basket, saw the price threw them back, if it is not £100 off will not get it, just a little bit off would not make me buy it, a lot off then yes would consider it an investment for life:D0 -
When he comes home I should really tell him how much it actually is (149.99:eek: £100 off tomorrow though:D) I know I should tell him, it is hell of a lot of money, do you distort the truth a little on high purchase prices?
I definitely wouldn't lie (about anything), but if I was feeling as you are, I might not volunteer the information if I wasn't asked and didn't want to own up.
Personally, I'd be wanting to tell him what a great deal I'd got!
As an aside, I looked at a Kitchen Aid only 2 weeks ago and it was over £400! I'm off to have a look now (I have a close friend who's after one) since that's a real bargain if it's the same thing!
As an aside, I've just spent £110 (very out of character for me) on a scarf, and I think a Kitchen Aid is much better value for anyone that would use it. I told DH, because I decided it should be my Xmas pressie from him ... except I'm wearing it as I type this!:rotfl:0 -
What do you get normally for a combined present? This one will ast forever, hopefully but it is a bit like having an xbox, been on ebay and al lthe accesories they have would be another xmas present, birthday and take years to get:rotfl::rotfl: I already want the ice cream maker accesory and don't even have the kitchenaid yet:DI want a coloured one, wahhh. Could be tempted though, they're supposed to be amazing. I will telephone my father and see, not sure OH really wants one of these for Christmas, but it's this which I can make him yummy food with or a new iron :eek:0 -
This is the white classic kitchenaid on tomorrow hopefully for a good price

Don't lie about the price. Take a tip from those QVC presenters or whoever's sold the idea to you and convince him that is a total steal at tomorrow's price:rotfl:. Men don't know the price of kitchen gadgets anyway, much the same as we're unaware of the cost of track rod ends or drive shaft couplings. Just make sure he knows it's a Kitchenaid, not a mere mixer:D
Some do.;) If you want to play down the price, just call it a mixer. Mixers are twenty quid from Argos.
As far as I know Mrs G never lies to me about prices. If something is expensive enough to worry about she will mention it to me before she buys it. If she wants/needs it (not always the same thing) and we can afford it, I don't have any problem... usually.0 -

Well we've never had one before, a joint present that is, only moved in together 6 months ago  and with baby coming along I'm assuming it'l be a while before we can justify buying anything like this for ourselves. The frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0 -
Need it? No, managed all this time without one and so far so good:rotfl:
Want it? Oh the joy it will bring, doing it's job so I don't have to:rotfl:
I know if I don't get it life will not collapse around me:D everyone's needs are always met first as mums do but then again I would not want it for xmas, kitchenaids, slippers, tea towels with snowmen on,oven gloves with santa on etc not for xmas presents for me;)0 -

Justification define it?
I can't because I can honestly live without it, could have done without the ipod but oh to hear music all the time , whenever, wherever pure bliss, have the old one and love it loads:D0 -
That's true, more we won't have the money to buy it
apparently children cost a lot.
I've wanted one for a while, we'l see, OH doesn't finish til half 11 tonight, we'l talk about it when he gets in.The frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0
