Morning all
Quick post today, lots and lots of work to do. I'm terrible for leaving things that I should have done and now I'm a bit in trouble so need to catch up! I spend so much energy worrying about stuff I should do and haven't done when instead I should just do them!!!
Great news seroxatchick - have fun at the cinema tonight, cause for celebration!
Fingers crossed Shirley.

Morning All
(((hugs))) to anyone who needs one.
VIVW - good luck at the hospital today.
Pen-Pen - that definately doesnt sound right - I was a school governer at our previous school and must admit I wouldnt do it again. Its a lot of work and altho the governors did have say on lots of matters the Head had a few of them on her side so basically whatever she wanted was passed. However we were allowed to go in the school when we wanted and it was encouraged.
Have cleaned kitchen and emptied the dw. When return from school run will load wm swish bathrooms and hoover if it needs it. Must remember to get sausages out of the freezer for tea with chips and egg tonight.
Then its in my office for a couple of hours and this afternoon im off to the hairdresser to have my hair coloured - not MSE I know but its a different hairdresser to my normal one and quite a bit cheaper - hopefully she will do a good job. Whilst in town will pop to Asda for a couple of bits including some oven chips for tea.
Only a few bits of ironing which may get done tonight or I may concentrate on my college homework, decisions decisions.
Anyway best be off now - have a great day.0 -

Good morning everyone
(((Hugs))) to Crazychik, you have a lot to deal with at the minute
Yesterday I received 3 DVD-RAM discs as a goodwill gesture from Panasonic. Our DVD recorder had broken down, was repaired by the vendor but several DVD-RAM discs had been ruined.
My partner felt unwell yesterday evening as her blood sugar was low. She is better today but I suggested she came out of work a little earlier than normal.
Breakfast this morning was my own home-made muesli with ground up seeds, coconut and cinnamon. Delicious
This afternoon I have some phone calls to make and work to do on the home PC. Then my partner and I will relax for a while in front on the TV
Hope everyone has a good day0 -
morning everyone,
seroxat chick thats excellent news for you,
crazy chick, school should be paying some of it.
good luck for promotion shirley.
happy birthday to anyone celebrating.
get well wishes to everyone not feeling great.
well i am a tad nervous, got my review at occupational health today to see if they consider me fit enough to return to work....... i hope so because if not i will go down to half pay next month and there is no way the budget can stand that. Even though i still do not feel well enough in myself to return to work i have to go back because of the money....
so far the DW is emptied and the kitchen has been cleaned.
BM is on.
i have to travel 26 miles for my review so will need about an hours travelling time as its right in the centre of Edinburgh and im very rural... oh joy Edinburgh traffic.
Need to pop to shops for a couple of bits and call in on my friend who organised christmas savings club money and give her some of mine to pay in.
apart from that i have my new evening class starting tonight so i dont know when i will find the time for moggins' fly lady cleaning today.
regards
hope everyone has a great day

Morning Guys!
Still not good here, but cant complain...much anyway:D
WM will be put on in a minute for OH's huge coat. DW has been emptied and toilet cleaned. I have a small list of jobs I want to complete, but theres nothing major on it-just making calls and returning emails, ebay, amazon etc.
OH had to cut out some very fiddly tiles for the kitchen and has gone off to B&Q for something...hope he hurries back as he has a GP appointment at 9.10 as he has Laringitus(sp) and needs some antibiotics. His snoring because of his throat was so bad last night, that I came downstairs and slept on the sofa for a couple of hours.
Dinner tonight is chicken stew and dumplings and am cheating with a jar of sauce that we got on BOGOF a few weeks back. Will bung in extra veg and some spuds to pad out a bit. I have taken out 3 big chicken breasts so should be more than enough.
Will make a couple of calls and a couple of things off the list, then will treat myself by watching Nip/Tuck that I taped last night.
Hugs to all.

Hi everyone :hello:
((hugs)) to Crazychik, Penelope Penguin, Penny Pincher and anyone else who needs one. Anniestar, hope today is a better day for you.
Great news seroxat_chickTired mum, your holiday sounds amazing
And good luck for the hospital vivw, and Mrs A at your review.
Phew!
DS1 at nursery this am so going to get DS2 down for a sleep and have a good cleanup, do the bathrooms, sort all the clean clothes, change beds etc. Going to crack open the Stardrops for the bathroom - yay :rotfl:
Went to the fish stall yesterday down at the quay and came back with a big bag of fish. Blimey though, fish is a price - it cost me £16.50  I've worked out though that I can probably get two fish-and-veg meals for the whole family, and four fish pies out of it, plus I've made a good 3 pints of fish stock which hopefully should make thai noodle soup or risotto with a few frozen prawns. So will stretch it as far as possible!
So I've got the fish pies to make this morning, then we are off to a birthday party this afternoon - present cupboard is so well stocked (thanks to Boots sale) I don't know what I'll choose!
