Hi, I was working on a project which came to an end and was then offered a chance at the one discussed here, which I also failed at the second attempt. very annoying! (hopefully you know which two projects i mean, as difficult to describe without breaching the NDA!)Really want to work with them again as it was a positive experience the first time round, and the job fitted so well with family life.

I'm signed up with crowdsourcing also. Never sure the best time of day to find tasks for that though. crossing my fingers that another regular hours project comes up!

nice to meet others who are doing the same work!

Got an email through the night saying I passed the initial WSE test but they're now not recruiting for that role.

So just the transcribing and corwdsourcing, neither of which I know hen/if there will be work, it's all so vague!

Uhh... Just logged in to continue work for the day only to find no tasks available. And yes, after checking the week's metrics, it seems I've been removed from production AGAIN. Thought things had finally fallen into place as I haven't had this happen since 26 June, but clearly not...

REALLY hate this job sometimes.

And of course this has had to happen at the exact same time my dodgy internet connection has finally gone back to normal as well...

Hello, I'm a newbie for both this forum and ABH.
I just started working last Tuesday. I got email this morning that I'm under review. Then when I checked email 30 min. ago, I found another email saying that they changed their mind. I'm not under review anymore. They wanted me to go back to work a.s.a.p. and work 5 hours/day.

I'm not really interested in going back to work because they haven't put my name in their payroll system yet.

Did you not read any of the many pieces of documentation emailed to you? You're not an employee, you're a self employed contractor and they pay you via Paypal.

Now for my own little moan. Signed all the documents last week for the crowdsourcing and haven't heard diddly squat since even though I was told I'd be receiving a follow up email about getting started. I have two links I can log into but neither of them have work available.

Was kind of hoping I would receive the same email as they did that to me once before.

The annoying thing is that some of my metrics were actually better than the ones other raters got, only for some reason mine are highlighted red, and theirs aren't. :huh: To be honest I don't even understand how they come to the metrics.. From all the tasks we complete in a week?! From just the audits?!

Actually, us Web Search Evaluators are paid by wire transfer, if you MUST know.
