Actually, us Web Search Evaluators are paid by wire transfer, if you MUST know. :D

Oh well check you out! Hopefully one of you that keeps getting warnings will make way for me.......Am I being too mean? :rotfl:

Just pointing out that the info you gave to someone already working for ABH was incorrect. :)

But yeah, "hopefully" I will get fired soon... Cos as a disabled, virtually housebound person who obviously can't get a "proper" job, but isn't disabled enough to qualify for benefits, that's EXACTLY what I need, isn't it?
  • Mallrat, I meant that I don't want to do any ratings when I still can't put in the amount of hours worked in A*P. We only get paid when we put our hours in A*P.

They did send me documents on how to set-up this and that, and I followed instructions, still couldn't log in. So, I emailed them. I was told that they had not put my name in their payroll system yet. That was last week. Yesterday, I emailed again, and got a reply "No, not yet. Perhaps sometime this week."

I was only teasing, I'm signed off work sick myself with no hope of being able to return any time soon, so you're not the only one in a miserable position.

As it goes, finally got my login info today but there's no work available. Marvelous.
  • MallRat - sorry to hear you're 'off' again - I guess you're being re-tested again? Every Monday/Tuesday is a bit tense. I don't really understand the metrics either - some seem higher and some lower than the 'bad' ones each week.

Are you signed up for the Crowdsourcing too?

Sorry :). Just feeling a little stressed at the mo, as if I lose this job I'm sort of out of options :(. Have already worked for LB, then got "failed" by LF without even being given a chance to take the test...

    Thanks.

It seems we now have to do our re-qualification tasks in the tool instead of using those stupid spreadsheets, so nothing for me to do yet until late tomorrow evening...

Kind of surprised to be back to 3 missed again this week, 1) because I got "zeros" the 2 previous weeks, and 2) a lot of last week's tasks seemed far easier than normal, so much so that I actually remember thinking at the time than I should have no problems meeting the metrics as a result...

Yep, but haven't even logged into it since sometime in May. Didn't like the fact that you got paid so little per task, especially considering the work is so similar to what I used to do for LB. Suppose I'm going to have no choice but to go back to it if I get kicked from the WSE job though.

    Oh. :(
  • Hello,
I had a problem with ABH: I found some tasks in My Marketplace and I started them but did not finish, the remaining hits went in My HitApps.
Today...there were not anymore in My HitApps...
    Why does it happen?

    Thank you in advance....:(
  • "The annoying thing is that some of my metrics were actually better than the ones other raters got, only for some reason mine are highlighted red, and theirs aren't."

Hi MallRat, sorry to hear this has happened to you again, it's very hard to tell how we're doing :(
I think calculations are only made once a certain number of checks have been done, that could be why your numbers are better but are showing red.

    Good luck :)

I've had my crowdsourcing log in for a few days now but no work as yet, it's so frustrating.

I did get an invite to a further transcription position, 20 hours a week, due to me being one of the best English spelling test scorers. So have sent off the further quiz they've asked me to do and see if I actually get some work out of this lot at some point!

BTW, I'm pretty sure I know who you are on "the list". The one person who keeps on getting really good results week after week, right?! Well, if you have any tips on what I can do to improve my rating, do feel free to pass them via PM! :D (Joking)
