Actually, it does stop the traffic for almost 8 minutes ...because it has to turn out onto a slightly wider road (albeit marginally so), there is a junction another 50 yds on the left from when traffic also flows, and, because I'm only 4 houses from the corner it would impede my access - but what the heck - it doesn't matter in the bigger picture of life. What matters is that some people consider that they should have priority over everybody else!
PS - doctor wouldn't be able to get access to administer "vapours" because of school bus! :P0 -

it did stop her. quite obviously.
did you read the op,
It didn't stop her - didn't you read the OP?
This morning she lost the plot with the bus driver, beeping her horn, verbally abusive, shouting that she shouldn't have to go up onto the pavement to get to her drive, refusing to move until he had reversed up the street to let her past
She could easily have just done what most people would do, and drive up on the pavement. Or just asked them to move.If you haven't got it - please don't flaunt it. TIA.0 -

if it didnt stop her then she wouldnt have made a fuss.;)
shes absolutely right that she shouldnt be forced to illegally drive on the pavement.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -

I suspect she made 'a fuss' [or ranted at the driver] because she thinks her rights to get into her drive are higher up than the child's rights to get to school.
Nobody forced her to do anything, I believe it is in the Highway Code to drive with due care and attention and to drive with reasonable care to other road users. So a big FAIL on her part.If you haven't got it - please don't flaunt it. TIA.0 -

While everybody is discussing somebody elses problems, back in real life they've always made up over tea and cake and embarked on a wild lesbian affair!!!
trust me on this i've seen it a thousand times before, apart from the cake because that's a bit far fetched.
This has made my day! :rotfl:0 -

If any part of that pavement was a dropped kerb then it wasn't illegal
What IS illegal however, is shouting verbal abuse in a public place.....(see disturbing the peace)
So actually is repeatedly sounding your car horn when your vehicle is stationary.Autism Mum Survival Kit: Duct tape, Polyfilla, WD40, Batteries (lots of),various chargers, vats of coffee, bacon & wine.

actually bigger fail on the van driver who showed absolutely no consideration to other drivers by blocking the road for a prolonged period.

its illegal to drive along the pavement. you seem to have that confused with driving over the pavement onto a drive way.;)Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0
