You haven't mentioned confiscation. Did the prosecution not ask to start proceedings under the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002?0

no the money was never mentioned in the sentencing just that im going to get help with dealing with money. my barrister told me that if provident want their money back they will have to claim it through civil court0

the police are involved to assertain as to whether this lady ( as a representative of the loans company) has commited a criminal offence by using her position of authority to obtain money via her clients.thats alot of nice friends i don't think i know 27 people who would lend me a tenner nevermind £60k althogether. I'm still confused as to why they police are involved, guess you'll just have to wait and see and get legal advice in the meantime

just a quick note to say thank you to all that have supported me through this difficult time. you have been a pillar of strenght to me and it is much appreciated. i am well aware that what i did was wrong but never intended to hurt anyone or leave anyone out of pocket. to those who have taken a dim view should we say i valued your comments and understand you have a right to your opinion never the less you do not know what my life has been like you do not know me as a person, until you have lived a day in my life or walked in my shoes please do not judge me as my judge is god and no-one else. imagine how you would feel if you had to tell your childred you wouldn,t be there on christmas day for them. yes i am fully aware of the crime i committed i never forged a signature i never stole an identity i borrowed money i fully intended and still do in paying back in full. the 45 k (written off) is the money i have paid back to provident already which left a balance of 15k which even though i dont have to WILL be paying back.
thank you again every one hope you have a very peaceful christmas and a debt free 2012 xxx0 -
Merry Christmas Susanne and family.
It's easy to judge people and yes it was a silly thing to do but you owned up to your mistakes and didn't try to blame anyone else which seems to be quite rare these days.
I'm glad you will be spending Christmas with your family
