Yes, it's wrong that a single mother is better off than a couple. I agree with you.

Perhaps one might feel then that single mothers are being given too much state money, rather than the state should give you more money when you're in a couple?

But what im saying is they want to take into account my partners income but they dont care that he pays £300 out per month in Child support.

Personally i think they should take that of his income.

    Who does ?

    1) in your original post you claimed that you were worse off now your partner has moved in

    2) of course he has to pay for his children !!!

If i had another child there is no point me working, childcare would cost to much.

And your on about tax payers money hell im paying £75 tax Per WEEK and my boyfriend pays more.

    So dont preach that one.

I pay £150 tax a week (roughly and that's just income tax and NI)

I know what your saying, why should working families be worse off, but this is how it is and this is why we all get so irate! I wholeheartidly agree with you on that one! It sucks!

I dont think you guys are getting my comments here, why should a single mother be better of than a couple, i think its wrong !!!!

Who say that they are ?? You claimed it because you beleived you were worse off now your DP has moved in, but in actual fact you were wrong. The amount of money coming into your house now is more than before...

And WHY shouldnt a single mother be beter off ?? Why does being in a couple mean that you should get more. Surely it depends on what that mother earns ?

I am not seeing anymore, i have my money boyfriendhas his.

Like i said if he stays in his house i would be £100 a week better off.

BUT now i will just have to do a few extra hopurs in Overtime and i will be ok, sure as hell beats spending a nite alone.

All im saying is it is wrong, that single mothers get MORE and its quite alot.

Who is preaching ? It was you who started to complain about not getting enough money. £75 a WEEK - WOW, you are really paying something...
