Not sure if posting in the right place?!
Years ago I used to follow preparing for winter threads, fly lady, along with all things old style.
I have searched to no avail, maybe not putting the correct things in search box, but hope that maybe someone will know.
Has there ever been or is there a thread on household jobs year round. Not talking dusting hoovering type jobs, like the sort of jobs you have to do occasionally or just once throughout the year? For example, pressure wash the decking, clear the leaves from drains etc
Have I explained this ok?!

Thank you, super quick and very kind. I use fly lady at the mo, well just getting back on it!
It was more a January - December type list of general jobs, but I will do exactly as you suggested and visit the winter thread etc, and I'll start trying to compile a list as I go.
Thank you again so much.DS 17 yearsDD 16 years DS 5 years

There is also the Old Style Calendar which might have some ideas on it. I think I remember the thread you're referring to, but I'm not having any joy with searching either. I'll keep looking.

My recipe says cornflour but i have run out, I have 00' flour and sainsburys sauce flour and the usual sr and plain flour. I need to put plain flour in it anyway but am reluctant to make them without cornflour, any ideas what to do? thanks in advance for any thoughts
Would you be able to post your recipe? I can't find the ones I googled before and I really want to make some.0 -
Afternoon all
I'm about to make HFW River Cottage Vegetarian Stuffed Cabbage Leaves and wondered if I could freeze them? It doesn't say either way in the recipe.
It's basically cabbage leaves stuffed with either rice or barley mixed with veg, egg, nuts and currents, topped with a tomatoey veg sauce.
