hubby just went in the bathroom to see what ds was up to as he had been gone for a little, only to find him with our friends ds both with their faces covered in shaving foam and ds with a razor in his hand :rotfl:"I have learnt that even when I have pains, I don't have to be one""You may not control all the events that happen to you, but you can decide not to be reduced by them.”Maya Angelou0 -

Lou I'm so pleased you've managed to eat and drink a little:beer: - a baby banana is today's triumph, I'd say. Like the others have said, take baby steps; we're right here to hold your hand.:o
OMG @ your DS and the shaving foam!:D
Cariad I did see your Q re £39 breadmaker, but I'm afraid I don't know the answer. Mine's a Panny, which was about £80 if memory serves, and the previous one (which expired) was given to me 2nd hand, so no idea of the price. Sorry.:(If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Carad I paid approx £50 for my Morphy Richards BM so your £39 doesnt sound too cheap IYSWIM?I have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knife

Cariad-
All I can say is that I bought a cheap Bm at first, think it was about £25 5 years ago,it was ok ish,but it stopped working after a couple of years.I got my Panasonic and couldnt believe the difference in the quality of the bread, much better risen and consistently good, and thats using it nearly every day.HTH x:heartsmil 'A woman is like a teabag: You never know her strength until you drop her in hot water'.
