Love all that:D Our wedding rings were made especially for us, they have a celtic knot going around them, my engagement ring has 2 trefoil knots either side of a blue topaz. I love wolves too, the mug I'm drinking my brew out of right now has a wolf on it:D
We went with the dragons as cake toppers because hubby was wearing a kilt, and we couldn't find any traditional bride&grooms wearing the right tartan. Not here in England anyway.
The mug I need to refill with coffeehas a Chinese Dragon on, but we have Wolf mugs too, plus other Dragons (including a Welsh one) and even a Snake mug!
When you've some time for relaxation, try Googling UKWCT and also Anglian Wolf Society for some lovely pics and info on Wolves.:oIf your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
*Knock, knock*
Helllooooooo!! May I come in?
It's been a while since I've been on here, I'm not sure if anybody will remember me..... I've been off doing my own little thing and getting my (professional) life in some sort of order and have deserted the forum for quite some time (a year or so I think!!), but I'd like to come back if you'll have me!!
Hope everybody is doing well, I see some familiar old faces are still around and about which is lovely to see.
I've been very naughty of late and have not been very OS at all (partly due to the canteen in my current place of work ), but I'm planning a few areas of work on the house and am determined to not get into any more debt because of it!! As such I need to start proper meal planning and making breakfasts/lunches for work again. Hopefully it will also help my weight as I've put on a hideous amount over the past few years which all needs to go
So my plan for the weekend is to attack the washing pile this evening - I'm challenging myself to get 10 loads washed and dried this weekend with the aid of the tumble dryer, but unfortunately I don't think that will even make an indent into half of it. I have a lovely afternoon planned with friends tomorrow for a birthday celebration, which is going to minimise the spending, and I PROMISE myself I'm not staying out late
and then I'll tickle about the house on Sunday making sure the usual uniforms, school bags, homework etc is ready for Monday.
Lovely to be back x

Gonna dye 4 pairs of black jeans to save me buying new ones:D
If you do this can you let me know the result? I've got a few pairs that are in reasonably good nick, but could do with a dye on them. I've no idea where to even begin though!!
Then in the case of at least 2 pairs, I just need to lose half a stone to fit in them confortably!! :rotfl:

afternoon all
wasnt going to post today but trying to force myself to do things. was feeling awful this morning and last night. my head felt like it was going to explode. made a plan with jac this morning that i get up and dressed everyday and to drink every half an hour through the day.so have been having water throughout the day as well as red bull (not the best thing to drink i know) head is still pounding though but not feeling so dizzy and lightheaded. ate a baby banana as well.
that sounds so silly when i've read what everyone else has done:(

Hello all
FW-thank goodness that's over! Woohoo!!!
Well, as predicted yesterday, OH got a rubber cheque for his wages, finally after multiple phone calls him and the friend he was working with today managed to get cash, not sure if the others did, will need to see what next week brings, boss is claiming he's waiting to be paid for several big jobs, but I'm not too convinced he's not up to some financial shenanigans, he has done so before, so OH now seriously thinking about another job, had the chance of one a few weeks ago but turned it down as it was long shifts with lots of travelling and will need to work away at times, might need to see if the offers still there....ho hum, back to bargain hunting and saving for us, just as well we'rer not skint as at least I earn a good wage, but will pull in the reins for a bit just in case!
Big hugs where needed, hope everyone has had a better day!
ETA well done Lou, set yourself small goals, every little step helps!RIP Iain

It's not silly, it's really good.:T You've managed to eat and drink better than yesterday, hopefully tomorrow will be better than today and so on. Don't push yourself to hard, baby steps will get you there, trying to take a huge leap will mean you land on your [STRIKE]!!!![/STRIKE] face.;)+++ Divide By Cucumber Error. Congratulation to FW I bet the world feels a lot better place now
Welcome to the newbies, I,m a newbie on here and I must say it is a lovely thread to come on, people are very friendly and its great reading about what other os stuff goes on.
(((Hugs))) to all that need them I hope you all feel a lot better, positive soon.
I made my first TWINKS yesterday!!!!!! unfortunately they have now all gone, but I only made half the amount and my DD1 and DGD have helped me eat them!!!! they are sooooooo nice. I am going to make a full batch to take away with us next week. Going down South to see my stepdad, he is 88 and still manages to live on his own in a small village but with very good next door neighbours.
Anyway I will go and start my dinner, oh I bought a load of whoopsied veg from Mr A last week and froze the whole lot without blanching, a friend of mine does this and says it doesnt make any difference to the taste and I will be using it all within the next three/four weeks.
Oh and I have my heating on, but I think I will go and switch it off as its getting like a sauna in here and thats not very os!!
