Just wondered if anyone on here might have an idea or has just had one fitted, it would be about a grand worth of boiler, would just like a rough figure for taking out old combi and fitting new one. It's on an external wall.

Really hard to say without seeing it, but IF it is a straight swap, then about £500-£600 labour plus any other materials0

Thanks. It was me who posted about the viessmann 100-w 35kw the other day, So would you say £17-£1800 for the boiler (£950-£1000) wireless stat, flue, parts and labour is about the going rate ?
Dont think he will be flushing the system though.0 -
Viessmann are the very best boilers. My husband is a plumber and it's the boiler he will choose when ours needs replacing. If your plumber is Viessman approved it will come with a 5 year guarantee. It really depends on lots of factors eg is the new boiler being put in exactly the same place? it also depends where you are in the UK as rates vary a lot from south to north0

just pm you not asking for the work as ime further north than you ,,, mimosa is right viessman are a very good make . i like worcester... or jaguar personally as if anything goes wrong with them under guarantee ... both these makes will come out with their own service engineer pretty quickly ... you could save yourself a few quid by buying the bulk of the stuff from a plumbing merchants ; also keep hold of the old boiler and flue if its still working ... you could either weigh it in for scrap ( £35-£60) or resell on ebay ( easy resell at £50 buy it now ) ... theres a bit of a trade in used boilers ... also hold onto any copper pipe a this is worth £4.63 a kilo at my local scrap yardNSD = 3/31 spent = £97.88/31 groceries = £26/31 fuel =2/31
various debts = /£14366.89:eek:secured loan = /£13887.21 full settlement figuremortgage = /£64,342.45

Thanks for the pm, I was planning on taking the boiler to the scrapy, thought if would be worth something.
I do think that price is expensive myself but I know the bloke and he said he will see if he can nock the price down at the end, he is also a good professional and viessmann approved. 700 profit for 2 days work is a lot though, a hell of a lot.0 -

I think the important point here is the fitter you plan to use knows the boiler and brand.
I liked viessmann too, but I ended up with Worcester Bosch because I chose the fitter first and selected a boiler brand he was comfortable with.0 -
Thanks for the replys folks, much appreciated.
Does anyone know how much the weather compensaters are for viessmann boilers ? And the cheapest place to get them.0 -
After lots and lots of re-search , i went for a Worcester-Bosch 30CDi ,the Cdi range is worcester high end kit !!
Not only for the make , but for after care customer service also !!!!0 -
I wouldn't chose one, I am a viessmann trained installer.Mimosa_Miminski wrote: »Viessmann are the very best boilers.
