Have got the curtain hooks, just need to hang the curtains now - got a rough meal plan worked out too - though I did decide that maybe a 2 weekly one would be better as I've got so much going on this month I can barely think a week ahead!
I'm just off out to do the round of picking stuff up from people, and when I'm back I'm going to do the Ebay stuff - I get sooo bored doing it I hate it! Job application this evening though...Total Debt 13th Sept 2006 (exc student loan): £6240.06

Sounds like a busy day in the Storm household - glad to see your green light is not on - must mean you are working through your lists.

Need motivation to list stuff on Ebay - I made the big mistake of thinking 'I'll just check the DFW boards" - half an hour ago! Now I'm sitting here watching my flatmate eat his tea and i'm thinking I'll go cook something instead - displacement activity or what!Total Debt 13th Sept 2006 (exc student loan): £6240.06

OK, it's official - my horoscopes are getting strangly money related... here's todays:
Money matters continue to go well for you but today you might not be too sure about that. Some rather disconcerting news about the world economy might put you into a temporary panic over whether or not your good fortune is going to continue. Don't fall into this trap. Probably what you're hearing is based on misinformation. Wait a day or two, then check out the facts. You'll probably be greatly relieved.
Not that it really says much - I'll start panicking, but must try not to! :rotfl:Total Debt 13th Sept 2006 (exc student loan): £6240.06

OK - update on how I did with my list...- List a load of stuff on Ebay (minimum 15 items) - um, only 5 things listed- List books on Green Metropolic/Amazon (minimum 10 items) - yes!
- Do meal plan for June - did 2 week one instead
- Phone my sister - I phoned, but she wasn't in!
- Clean the bathroom & kitchen - Yes!- Pick up backpack from my brother - Yes!
- Buy curtain hooks so I can hang my new curtains - Yes, but haven't actually hung the curtains yet
- Pick up my camping chair from mates house - Yes!
- Get coin bags from bank & sort out small change - got bags, but not filled them yet- Complete at least one job application (2 if the pack arrives in time) - 1 done!
Not too bad I suppose - although I am kicking myself for not listing more stuff on Ebay - I was distracted by the thought of going to the pubTotal Debt 13th Sept 2006 (exc student loan): £6240.06

That is pretty good progress Storm. Most things on the list got done, and at least some stuff is on ebay/amazon!

 Just went to check my internet banking - and noticed that the interest on the HSBC CC was more than I'd been expecting - they've only gone & raised the apr without telling me
I've had to therefore adjust my figures, and it means my total debt has gone back up again
Still, on the positive side it does now show the big OD facility is gone - just £100 there as a buffer in case I forget a DD or something, but I have no option to run it back up again :jTotal Debt 13th Sept 2006 (exc student loan): £6240.06

Had to come and tell someone as I'm at work at the moment so can't exactly shout it from the rooftops - but I've been offered an interview on Friday morning for my dream job :j
It's 9K more a year than I'm currently on, absolutely PERFECT for me, and I'm just so excited!!!
I'm going to have to give a presentation - not sure on what though, so will need to get more details - thankfully I have Thursday & Friday booked off work anyway, so will have plenty of time to prepare! Woo Hoo!Total Debt 13th Sept 2006 (exc student loan): £6240.06

It's project management, which is what I currently do in my main job, but it's focussed on musical activities - and I have a degree in music, so it's perfect for me!
Just been re-reading the email they sent, and I get an hour to prepare the presentation, then I've got to deliver it and have the interview. I think I'll be spending Thursday reading every single word on their website!
I'm so excited, been phoning and texting loads of people - it may sound cocky, but historically I have a very good interview to job offer ratio (last time I was job hunting I got offered every job that I was interviewed for!)Total Debt 13th Sept 2006 (exc student loan): £6240.06
