thanks to you all once again for your kind wishes just waiting for my once a year super chinese to turn up

There was a bloke who owned (don't know whether he still does) a cafe in Kirkby Lonsdale called Simon Nutter. It's about 10 years since I last went there, but instead of asking for a "hot chocolate", which he just didn't "recognise" you HAD to ask for a "Nutter's hot choccy woccy". You're no relation, I trust?

PS The hot chocc woccy was divine :D

((((((((((((Skystar)))))))))))) Send my hugs to your dad.

I have managed to scrape a total of £177 into the savings account towards the shower and then realised today that we don't have to pay the council tax this month so that's another £80 I will be able to put towards the shower fund. I only have another £50 to find :D

Skystar, sorry to hear about your Dad, that is awful. I hope he's ok.

Well done Moggins. I'm sure with your budgetting that will take you no time to find.

Just made myself a small apple and sultana sponge pud as I was hungry and needed something sweet, I only made a little sponge but loads of fruit and it was yummy!

Kids aren't sleeping again, not unusual for the oldest, but the little one is usually asleep by now, starting to get a little frustrated with them but determined to stay calm. I did want to do some more reading of the OU paperwork, but they are making it difficult. Given up until they are asleep!
One day I might be more organised...........

Thank-you to all you nice people for remembering my puddy-cat. Hes home and feeling very sorry for his self. His tail has been shaved and it has basically being skinned (yuck), he has several stiches in it.

I am looking at reworking the budget but not tonight as I'm having a large glass of wine or two.

    Night night everyone

  • Skystar - hope that your Dad is ok, that's a horrible thing to happen.

lil_me - apple and sultana sponge sounds lovely, will have to try that sometime.

Have managed to get a good portion of my study tidied, cleaned and decluttered tonight, that's to moggins flylady challenge :) Sold another book on amazon tonight so that 2 out of the 4, which isn't bad considering I was going to freecycle or charity shop them anyway.

I really fancied chip shop chips tonight, but the BF persauded me that it wasn't a good idea and that we had oven chips in the freezer, so he went and did chip and cheese butties - yummy. Even better as the rolls I picked up in tesco last night for 10p for a pack of 6.

Early night for me, lots of stuff to do tomorrow.

Moggins - presumably you don't have to pay the council tax NEXT month either ;) so that's your £50 shortfall made up AND £30 towards the caravan holiday spending money :D

Skystar - I dont think work an do much about it, unless reported to the police. Isn't there anyone in HR on here?

Moggins - Glad it looks like you can get it together.

I've pushed the boat out tonight with a couple of Bicardi and Diet Cokes while watching Midsummer Murders (rare occasion for me to watch the box and I stayed awake!)

Calling it quits now night all

Shirley seriously all I did was put a sliced eating apple, handful of sultanas, teeny bit of brown sugar and some ground cinnamon (knew those sticks would come in handy) in a bowl, and a little of the pudding mix on the top, microwaved for a couple of mins (seeing as was only small) and it was lovely! I needed some comfort food :o

I'm off to bed now, much earlier than usual, going to take some reading with me :( only chance I'll have to get some done I think. Still got to find childcare for tutorials yet, Mam & Dad is working, trying BIL next.

    Night night everyone :)
