Evening everyone :hello:
Happy anniversary to Mr and Mrs Mix
((((hugs)))) to MushyPeas
Yet another day at the coal face of another school. It went okay. No more to say really. Monday's day of work has been cancelledbut they are highlighting me on the supply list so if a call comes in over the weekend/Monday morning then I'll be one of the first ones that they call. Let's hope so.
I popped to the library when I got back and got a couple of trashy novels out. It looks like our town have just started a sort of Book Crossing type thing, where they are releasing "Free Range" books out into the community
. This is on the promise that if you pick one up from one of the special boxes around town (I wondered what it was doing in the newsagent!), you put a book in that you would recommend to people. The town does an annual literature festival too, that hopefully the programme will be released for it soon. I know that Roger McGogh and Victoria Hislop are going to be there, so I'm getting quite excited. :j :j
My dad completes a survey every year to do with the farm and gets rewarded in M&S vouchers. He gave me them a couple of years ago, so I was able to put them towards a pair of boots. This time, he's told me to buy food with them and no doubt he will quiz us on what we bought. I might get a nice bottle of wine, or some lovely crisps and dips to take with us to the Lake District in a fortnight.
DH has just text me to say that he's going to the pub for a half a pint with one of his friends, so I can stay on MSE for a little longer.
Take care

Hi everyone!
Another busy day at work as we had a 'Teddy Bear's Picnic' at school.
I'm off out tonight (shock, horror) so DH has fed the kids some pizza from our chippy as I refused to cook! I'm going to a local restaurant so I can stagger home afterwards.
I've been hogging the computer this week since discovering the joys of ebay. My first listings end tonight and it looks like I've sold at least 2 of them. :j
Right I'm off for a shower and a transformation!

I don't usually post twice in day (nothing much to say) but I am back on for a RANT!!!!
I was on my way back from the shops today after returning the trousers that didn't fit when my mum phoned to say my dad had been attacked on the way home from work by an absolute nutter he works with
Luckily, he only has a few cuts and bruises but my dad is nearly 62 and about five foot nothing and the other guy is well over six foot and about twenty years younger
Yesterday my dad had to leave work early and this man "reported" him to the management (although it is none of his business) and this morning my dad asked him why he had done that and it ended in a few crossed works. He then followed my dad home and attacked him in the street.
My hubby wants to go and give him a hiding now but we have managed to convince him this is not a wise move.
I am sooooo bloody mad :mad:0 -
skystar what happened to your Dad is awful! I hope this nutter gets his come uppance:grouphug: hugs to you and your Dad xxxDo what you love :happyhear0

Skystar that is awful. I hate bullies in any form. Send your dad our love and best wishes for a very speedy recovery. (((((((HUGS)))))))))))Blind as you run...aware you were staring at the sun.
And when no hope was left inside on that starry starry night.
:A Level 42- the reason I exist. :A0 -
Oh skystar
You do get some nutters in the work place, who are jealous of others they work with for no known reason.
Hope Dad is OK, and is prepared to call the Police, if not he will be bullied by this guy constantly.
Keep DH away, if not he would report DH.Member #8 of the SKI-ers Club
Why is it I have less time now I am retired then when I worked?0
