Thanks everyone
This man has a bit of a "reputation" for throwing his weight around.
What makes it even worse is they work for the local council taking OAP's and disabled people to the local day centres and he is rude and obnoxious to them as well. There has been a string of complaints about him but nothing seems to get done
Anyway I have had a small martini to calm me down a bit0 -
skystar - i hope they listen now - how horrible, i do hope your dad will be ok xxxx0
-
OMG some people aren't having a very good day!!
Evening all, by the way.
Skystar - enjoy your martini, I can see you need it.
Ageandjo - well done on the weight loss
Moggins - I'd go for the shower if you can easily manage it.
mushypeas - hope your friend rethinks and comes on MSE where we can all rally round her.
((((hugs)))) to all the others who need them (I am sorry I forget everything after I read all 7 pages but I know to give hugs to serax(soz)chick, and I am glad the cat is okay (sorry 4 forgetting ur name) and to the one whose rents gone up. I must get a decent pen and write everyone down to remember.
Thank goodness its Friday - hopefully you will all have a better weekend
love and best wishes BBxx
almost forgot - happy anniversary to the mixs (easy name to remember!)If you don't have something nice to say don't bother saying anything at all.0 -
hugs to your dad skystar, time that lad was well gone, a nasty piece of work0
-
skystar - can your dad go to who he works for. If other bloke has done that and not nice to clients he has to go! Hope he is OK - he shouldn't have this at his age.
Had dinner and the G&T (OMG, actually make that 2!!!!!). Friend been and confirmed my curtain measurements and all the doings have gone to her house. I am so looking forward to having lounge curtains again. Came down in September for double glazing and just feel we are so bare without them. Have blinds but that doesn't have the same cosy feeling.
Part 2 Corrie coming on. Will dip in later. Trying to wean myself of this addiction!

He says he is going to see them on Monday. Apparantly they can't take the attack on its own into account but other people at work heard him being threatened today so hopefully that will be enough.
Thanks again everyone for your kind words.0 -
skystar - glad others heard what was going on. Your poor Dad will take a bit of getting over this - replays, nightmares even! Let's hope that guy gets shown the door.
Well, now onto Eastenders and then River City. Martin on ITV just now re Council Tax. I am not watching because we know we are in the right band! Saw him on Breakfast tv yesterday before he was on GMTV.
Will get back to you all in due course. Bottoms up it's Friday!
Meant to say earlier, welcome to the new folk - we don't bite here and we are like an extended family. Went on to another forum yesterday and totally useless with advice - two totally conflicting answers. Might post question here in a wee while because I wouldn't be surprised if you lot come up with answer. DH got 8 (generous) portions out of his 'free' game today. He is well chuffed. Only a couple of Oxos, some onion, herbs, garlic and a bit of flour to thicken and Bob's your Uncle! My tripe disappointing. Obviously processed and not what I remember! However, edible and at only 20p (I think or was it 10p) for 2 meals I can go with it!
Getting hair colour and trim tomorrow so looking forward to the treat so long as I am not needed for DD being ill. SIL says all under control at moment.
