I've found the old style board now so I'm going to read up on some tips!
Next you'll be buying a breadmaker, and some stardrops! (like me):rotfl: :rotfl:

Good evening everyone! I'm stuck at work at the moment but have sneaked a bit of time to read the posts. Brilliant advice all round, thanks again. You'll all be pleased to hear I'm on roll-ups at the moment, a few more weeks of these & I'll want to give up completely.
I'm coming home in the morning and then going straight out again on a money making expedition. All is good at the moment and after having see my baby son smiling before I left for work nothing else really worries me.
One door closing simply opens another.........!
Hope you're all well.

Hi Everyone!
Just called Benefits Line and because my little boy gets middle rate DLA I am entitled to Carer's Allowance - they're sending me an application pack!:j
The parties don't bring in a regular, guaranteed amount so I'll just make sure that I don't earn over the limit as knowing my luck I'll be the one that gets accused of benefit fraud!
Just need to get out Tax Credits sorted now!
Best wishes to all,
Dizzy xx0 -

It may also be worth checking if there's a local Carers' Association - both for support and in case there are any practicalities they can help with.Miggy
