Even though I've had a carp day, following my carp afternoon yesterday (me and OH had a falling out) I'm still feeling pleased that the car has been paid.:) Have updated sig accordingly.
OH has had to put some petrol in tonight when he went to football and we needed some milk and bread, so I've transferred £30 from emergency fund to cover everything. Whilst OH was out he got dog food too (money in the 'pet' pot!).
Also the freezer in the garage has switched itself off :eek:because it is so cold, luckily its only small and there isn't that much in there so swapped meal plan for tonight and tomorrow.......and we ate like Kings tonight instead of the 'something' on toast we normally have on a Monday.
Have done some more ironing tonight and another load drying on the airers. We have had the heating on tonight.....must submit meter reading that E0n have asked for.
Need to have some more NSDs, have run out of makeup wipes so will compromise until the end of the week when I can get to the cheapy shop and get 2packets for £1.:)
Hope everybody is keeping warm. xxDMP with CCCS started Jan12 £34,906 Jan13 £31,893 Jan14 £26,836 Jan15 £21,894 Jan16 £16,839 Jan17 £14,415 Jan19 £12,938ish Jan19 £9,649 Jan20 £6612 Feb 21 0 Self managed from Jan'17

Morning Alice,
Im glad your little falling out didnt spoil your happiness at the car being paid!! I actually cant believe how fast the times gone either as I remember you putting the countdown in your signature, hence why ive copied you :rotfl:!!!
Oh no to the freezer switching itself off, but at least you have managed to use that food instead of it being thrown away.

Thanks mummy, time is just flying by isn't it. I think I'll start a countdown to our DFD when we get to 2years to go.;)
The fridge/freezer in the garage is a real pain, switches off when its cold and also switches off in the summer when its too hot. Unfortunately there isn't any room in the kitchen for it, we have just a fridge in the kitchen.
Have submitted meter reading to E0n for our new bill. Currently £127.60 in credit.
Today was a NSD think that's number 4, will have to check.
We forgot to pay DS2s cricket subs last sunday, must pay balance of £25 this week.....must not forget, there was only a few of us that didn't pay it all upfront.:(:o

Thanks brizzle, I'm pleased with the leccy bill, we've tried to keep it lower so looks like its worked a bit.
Yesterday was NSD5 so really back on track.......for now anyway!:D
Today I need to pay childminder and get some bits for DS2 cooking, so will get them from sburys on way home tonight.
My works lottery has been paid but OH needs £1.50 for his.
I'm going to try A1di again for fruit, veg and other bits tomorrow so need to do a list.
DS2 needs some football boots for a match this weekend that is on astro turf (can't believe out of all the boots in our garage we don't have any that fit/suitable), will get them tomorrow, (shame we couldn't get the off fleabay!).
Talking of fleabay I must get some more stuff on there. I was doing really well but have lost a bit of steam.:o
Better get back to work.xx

Yippee it's Friday.........bring on the weekend.:)
Went to A1di tonight, spent £33, got some fruit and veg but they didn't have potatoes and the grapes looked a bit iffy but everthing else OK. Then called in at sburys (again was only in there last night getting DS2s cooking stuff!) and spent £19 on the rest of the stuff on my list..................just forget to get OH's milk (he only likes full fat milk!!).
Got DS2 some boots....£28
Put £25 petrol on my car, not sure it will last until next Thursday. We've got a 50mile round trip with DS2 footie tomorrow.
Really must do some housework this weekend, the place is a tip and I really struggle when it's like this. Don't mind the kids getting things out but its bits like paperwork, newspapers, ironing still waiting to be put away, homework (which has been done but still in the table), shoes in the kitchen which I keep tripping over and you can't walk through the garage with falling over muddy football/rugby boots, so when we get back tomorrow we are all going to do a bit and get the place sorted.:o
Money wise this week is going to be a really tight week, don't want to raid the emergency fund again but will be down to less than £10 in the bank after all my spends and the DDs (its tough the first half of the month with all the DDs coming out) have come out of the account. Must remember we are back to paying c.tax and water from April (still need to call about meter options).
Hope everybody has a great weekend.xxDMP with CCCS started Jan12 £34,906 Jan13 £31,893 Jan14 £26,836 Jan15 £21,894 Jan16 £16,839 Jan17 £14,415 Jan19 £12,938ish Jan19 £9,649 Jan20 £6612 Feb 21 0 Self managed from Jan'17

Today was NSD6, update on pots - £2 upto £44 and 20p upto £30.60.
On the downside we are down to 45miles worth of petrol in the car and that is not going to last until next Thursday.
On the plus side everybody chipped in with the housework this afternoon, downstairs all clean and tidy, stairs vac'd, bedrooms done (except DS3s which you can't see the carpet for toys!), windows inside cleaned, all thats left is the bathrooms, gave them a wipe down in the week so will do them tomorrow and sort DS3s bedroom out.......now I feel better.
Tomorrow I'm also going to put some more bits on fleabay, definately!
