  • We've a lovely tea with our parents and my lovely Mom brought a bit of a food parcel over, food that was on BOGOF and she's given us the free one! Fruit, yogurts and some meat. Felt very emotional.......:o

So today was a LSD, 2 x 50p for Squash, the same pub where they'd charged me £1 per glass last time!!!

DS3 has developed a cough throughout today, a horrible tickly cough. I did wonder if it was because we'd had the heat on a bit higher as we got company coming. Anyway heating off now so will see how he goes.

Need to submit meter readings tomorrow.xx

Hi..so pleased about the food parcel. My mum bought stuff over when she came last too. It's very lovely of them isn't it.

I didn't know that about the meter EE..I will look. Think we currently pay £47pm from memory...

Great you're looking into the scholarship....really hope it works out

  • Happy Mothers Day.xx

Today is just like any other day for me to be honest.:(

DS2 has been cricket training this morning, OH has just gone to fetch him and he's going to call into the chemist and pick something up for DS3, who's cough has got much worse (is coughing now until he's almost s....you get the idea!). DS1 is still in bed as he went out last night...oh to be young again.:D But I've have cards, plant from D1 he planted up at school and some chocs and they put a lovely little note in the card about how much they do appreciate me. :)

Crisis time -Turned on the cold water tap upstairs this morning and brown water came out, tried all the cold water taps upstairs and they are all the same, dowstairs is OK. Have run them for a bit and all clear now.......but feel very nervous about this.:(

DS2 has a rugby match this afternoon, not sure if we'll all go with DS1 not very well and it looks horrible out there, and we've had a bit of snow.

Off to do the ironing, OH looking after dinner today.......he seems a little stressed about it to be honest.:( xx

  • Well done Alice, thats a big relief knowing the car is all yours and no-one can take it away!

I agree, brown water usually means the waterboard have been up to something.

My mothers day was pants but hey ho, next year will (has to be) better. x
