I've updated spending diary and we've spent £140 petrol so far this month. I'm hoping whats in the tank now will last until Thursday.....payday. :j Food is upto £352.
I've sorted bus money etc and I've got £5.24 left in my purse. I think I'll take OHs works lottery for this week out of that.
Right off to do some housework.:( xxDMP with CCCS started Jan12 £34,906 Jan13 £31,893 Jan14 £26,836 Jan15 £21,894 Jan16 £16,839 Jan17 £14,415 Jan19 £12,938ish Jan19 £9,649 Jan20 £6612 Feb 21 0 Self managed from Jan'17

Am also hoping I can manage until end of month..but a lot of travelling again this week and so think I will need to fill the tank again..around £70:eek: It's a pretty fuel efficient car thank god but even so
Have a good day...we are surrounded by washing up on racks inside..but slow to dry.

Not looking good Brizzle my petrol light came on the way to work this morning.
Didn't make it on here last night, me and OH were having a 'bit of a chat'. DS has been offered a fantastic opportunity to study and further his sporting career abroad, all sounds great but the stumbling block is the fees (and it is a major stumbling block!!). £9,500 per year for the first 2 years (course is 4 years) and an initial set up fee of £2,500.
DS is playing it really cool as he knows about our financial situation but I know he really would like to go, and it breaks my heart that we are not in a situation to help him. He has some savings but no where near enough. There is a chance he will get help with the yearly fees but that's not guaranteed and it depends on how he does in some tests. Still mulling it over in my head.
On the plus side managed to get upto 5 NSDs. All seems a bit trivial to me at the moment. xxDMP with CCCS started Jan12 £34,906 Jan13 £31,893 Jan14 £26,836 Jan15 £21,894 Jan16 £16,839 Jan17 £14,415 Jan19 £12,938ish Jan19 £9,649 Jan20 £6612 Feb 21 0 Self managed from Jan'17

Will have to get petrol tomorrow, the car is now screaming at me and I certainly don't want it to run out.
We've also nearly run out of milk, infact I may have to water down the little bit that is left for breakfast in the morning.
Got one load of washing drying on the airers.......roll on the summer.
DS had another letter from C@pital 1 offering him a CC at 34.9%apr respesentative variable, that is going right back - return to sender and remove from mailing list.
Payday is just 2 days away, must remember to tax the car too. xxDMP with CCCS started Jan12 £34,906 Jan13 £31,893 Jan14 £26,836 Jan15 £21,894 Jan16 £16,839 Jan17 £14,415 Jan19 £12,938ish Jan19 £9,649 Jan20 £6612 Feb 21 0 Self managed from Jan'17

I went to sburys and got some bits, just about stuck to the list, spent £14.76. I checked the account and decided to get £30 petrol as we had a double nectar points coupon which ran out today (every little bit helps
), so that will of really pushed us over the petrol budget.
This means we are down to about £7 ish in the account, but we both get paid tomorrow. :j
Heating has been off tonight, still a bit chilly but bearable.
Must tax car tomorrow. Also got 2 loads of washing ready to peg out....:j

I know, can't wait.......mind you the last 3 payments seem to have taken ages to pay off.:D
I've been awol for a couple of days, just been very busy. We had to travel 200mile round trip yesterday for DSs football so not off to a good start with the petrol this month.
This morning I've updated spending diary/budget, submitted meter reading and pegged 2 loads of washing out.
Gas and electric currently £176 in credit. 20p pot upto £26 and £2 pot upto £38.:)
On the downside have been food shopping and already spent £80  but I am going to really try and keep a tight rein on the food spends this month. Also hoping for more NSDs, only managed 6 in February...tut tut.
Have had a week off fleabay too (I needed a rest) but I'm going to put some more things on this afternoon.
Hope everybody has a good Sunday.xxDMP with CCCS started Jan12 £34,906 Jan13 £31,893 Jan14 £26,836 Jan15 £21,894 Jan16 £16,839 Jan17 £14,415 Jan19 £12,938ish Jan19 £9,649 Jan20 £6612 Feb 21 0 Self managed from Jan'17

The more I think about not food shopping the more times I think of things I need (or should that be want
) .
I put 17 things on Fleabay last week and only 3 sold so I've relisted the rest rather than get more out - the lazy way to listOne small step for ME, one giant leap for my family!

I'm like that re the food shopping. I have a such a problem dealing with cupboards/fridge that are not brimming with food. I do a meal plan so there should only ever be the food that we are actually ever going to use/need and nothing extra. Going to try really hard this month and keep the spending down.:)
I've cheated on flebay too and just relisted.
Today was NSD1, I've got bus money, milk money, football money all ready and just a few pence left in my purse. I need to get some birthday cards for March birthdays (and there seems to be loads this month) tomorrow so I will take out £10 from cashpoint and use the change for lottery. I've already got all the presents apart from one and thats a £10 note in the card job.
We've got about 95miles of petrol left in the car so I'm hoping that will last until Thursday.
Can't believe it's Sunday evening already. xxDMP with CCCS started Jan12 £34,906 Jan13 £31,893 Jan14 £26,836 Jan15 £21,894 Jan16 £16,839 Jan17 £14,415 Jan19 £12,938ish Jan19 £9,649 Jan20 £6612 Feb 21 0 Self managed from Jan'17
