The laptop didn't want to play last night.
I joined the 'cheap energy club' and our saving would be less than £50, and if we left E0n we'd lose the T3sco points we get from them, which when doubled up or used on their website where they can be worth 4 times their value is quite a saving.
We didn't have the heating on last night and it was a bit chilly in the house but at least the curtains were all hanging nice and neat. OH has got this thing now where when the heating is on he goes round the house and pushes the curtains on to the window sill so the heat from the radiator doesn't go up the back of them and 'stays' in the room. It does seem to work but our poor curtains......:(:o
With our scrunched up curtains and bath towels at the bottom of the ensuite door to stop the draft when the window is open............roll on the summer.
Better get on with some work. xxDMP with CCCS started Jan12 £34,906 Jan13 £31,893 Jan14 £26,836 Jan15 £21,894 Jan16 £16,839 Jan17 £14,415 Jan19 £12,938ish Jan19 £9,649 Jan20 £6612 Feb 21 0 Self managed from Jan'17

Has taken me nearly an hour to get the laptop fired up!!
Still not managed any more NSDs, still on 2.
Went to A1di tonight, forgot the list, didn't have my shopping bags with me (they are in DS1s car!!) and didn't have a £1 coin nor could i find my shopping trolley token........still spent nearly £16.
Then went to sburys and spent £63, but also got 10 x £1 easter eggs so that's everybody sorted as long as we don't eat any of them before easterand OH some blades as I had an extra n3ctar points voucher for them. Put £50 petrol in my car and got £20 cash.
Fleabay bids upto £21ish so looking OK.
Washing already to be pegged out tomorrow. Football in the morning then need to nip to town to get birthday presents and cards, DS2 and DS1 desperately need new pillows and white tissue paper for fleabay stuff (99p for 10 sheets), probably totally un-necessary but makes me feel better.:)
Hope everybody has a great weekend.xxDMP with CCCS started Jan12 £34,906 Jan13 £31,893 Jan14 £26,836 Jan15 £21,894 Jan16 £16,839 Jan17 £14,415 Jan19 £12,938ish Jan19 £9,649 Jan20 £6612 Feb 21 0 Self managed from Jan'17

I'm gutted, we have car trouble. Started the car this morning and it didn't sound quite right, pulled of the drive and it juddered up the road then a warning light came on the dash (which I since found out it the emissions warning light) so turned round pulled back on the drive and we all piled into DS1s car and off to football we went.
Will contact the garage and see if they can have a look on Tuesday. I am trying not to worry about it until we know exactly what is the problem and more importantly how much it is going to cost.:(
We went into town this afternoon, didn't get new pillows for the kids but did get everything else. Also got OH some vitamins from the health food shop, he's been feeling very run down and tired just lately. I'm sure if he had a better bike it would make the ride to work much easier but his works still haven't sorted anything about the 'bike to work scheme'.:(
Also had to get some plasters and tape for OHs hands (occupational hazard), tissue paper, a small throw for the chair that the cats have made theirs, packet of baby wipes (no baby but find them useful for all sorts of things!!), batteries (keep promising we'll invest in some rechargeable ones
) and some more hair stuff. Haven't updated spending diary yet.
Sorted cash for out family meal tonight, no need for bus money next week as its half term but have got to pay the childminder extra.
On a more happier note I pegged 3 loads of washing out today and managed to get the laptop to work.
Update - 20p pot upto £21.80, £2 pot upto £24.
NSDs - still only had 2 this month.:(
There's lots of ':(' in the post today. Looking forward to the birthday meal with family this evening, will keep smiling and nobody will be any the wiser.:)

Thank you mummy and pwps, car has been sorted (by a friend of a friend of a friend!!), £15 for parts (spark plugs). Mind you it did make me realise how financially unstable we are had it of been mega bucks we would of been in big trouble. Really must try and get the emergency fund increased....not sure how tho!!!
Had a great night out of Saturday, meal came to £63:eek: and drinks were £11ish, I know its a lot of money that we could of done without spending but you know.........:o:(:)
Today was NSD3.....about time I had another one.:)
Tonight I need to parcel fleabay stuff up and I really should do the ironing but we'll see.
Have updated spending diary with the weekend spends. I've got 34p in my purse but need to post parcels tomorrow, its just never ending!
