Still only had 1 NSD so far this month!!
This morning went to football then the whole team went to the pub (so of course we had to follow, keeping up appearances and all that:D), spent £6ish there. We were so cold when we got back even with extra layers so the heating has been on all day.:(
We've had a mortgage statement, there's £70,164.93p left to pay, 12 years 2 months. Which is scary because our DMP is currently going to run for 10years (this will drastically reduce once the car finance has finished).
We have decided to give DS2 £3.00 pocket money per week. He will have to pay for any non essential clothes, trainers, social activities ie cinema, iceskating, and extras for his games console. I'm really hoping this will encourage and teach him how to manage money. £156 a year is a lot when you're 14 but its the same as we did with DS1 (until he got his paper round) and it really helped him to be good with money......thank heavens he doesn't take after us!!
Have listed some more items on fleabay, really don't like doing it and find it a pain in the backside but it is a must. Although after our bumper week last week this week is looking really poor.:(
We've got clothes airers all round the house trying to dry washing and have had a very lazy afternoon so no house work has been done.

I think the pocket money is a really good idea and will hopefully help DS see that if he wants something in particular he has to save for it

Thanks Granny I really hope so. He would like a proper bag for cricket, the one's he's seen are £15-£20 so he knows that he won't be able to go the the cinema or iceskating if he wants the bag......it's hard but tough love and all that.:o xxDMP with CCCS started Jan12 £34,906 Jan13 £31,893 Jan14 £26,836 Jan15 £21,894 Jan16 £16,839 Jan17 £14,415 Jan19 £12,938ish Jan19 £9,649 Jan20 £6612 Feb 21 0 Self managed from Jan'17

Kids sports games have been called off today.
I've done some baking with DS3s help this morning and will make some spag bol sauce whilst I cook dinner later, enough to put some in the freezer too.
I've done meter readings and we are currently £147.59 in credit, which I am most surprised at, we've had the heating on a lot more recently.
Today will be NSD2.:)

Well Sunday evening already.
Managed to get all the washing that was dry ironed, still got 3 clothes airers full of washing drying though. Kids vac'd and dusted their bedrooms and OH did ours.We had a lovely dinner and I made some spag bol sauce, enough for tomorrow night and 2 lots for the freeze.
Money sorted for this week, DS2s bus money, DS3s milk money and OHs football money (although this was 18p short so had to raid the 2p and 1p pot). My purse is empty so hopefully I can have some more NSDs this week.:)
Stuff on fleabay still not doing very well, have put another 10 items on this week and will relist anything that doesn't sell when they finish later.
Going to make sandwiches/lunches for tomorrow, tidy the kitchen and then chill on the sofa. Hope everybody has a good week.xxDMP with CCCS started Jan12 £34,906 Jan13 £31,893 Jan14 £26,836 Jan15 £21,894 Jan16 £16,839 Jan17 £14,415 Jan19 £12,938ish Jan19 £9,649 Jan20 £6612 Feb 21 0 Self managed from Jan'17

Sounds like a productive Sunday you had there. I need to get my girls to do their rooms. They are clean and tidy but the cupboards need mucking out and it just never seems to get done !
The pocket money sounds a good idea. We give DD1 £15 a month , her friends get £150 per month ! She is pretty good with it, but clothes crazy . She finds it tough shopping with her friends when they all have money to burn, but hey ho that's life !
One payment to go on the car !! Yey !!! :jxxLBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

Wow £150 per month!! Mind you some of DS1 and DS2 friends are just the same, a few of DS1s friends had brand new cars and insurance paid for when they past their driving tests and their parents put petrol in the cars for them too. Our kids will thank us in the long run I'm sure.xx
