I'm hungry, well not exactly hungry just think that I am.:(
Just poured an cold glass of water with ice and a slice of lemon, see how that goes.
Today was NSD 13, very happy with that. Tomorrow is swimming and its badge week so hopefully DS3 will get a badge. I've got £3 in my purse to cover that if needs be (hopefully!!).

No swimming badge
so OH going to use the £3 for his works lottery. DS3 really tried hard and was shattered when he come out so OH called and got a cooked chicken on the way home and DS3 had chicken and scrambled egg for his tea......strange combination but he loved it.:D
DS1 and DS2 had chicken (last lot of meat from freezer) and pasta, OH had rest of cooked chicken and HM chips. That is it in the freezer just 2 loaves off bread so will defrost tomorrow night.
Heating has been off since the snow has melted and according to Mr Weatherman it will be dry tomorrow, so I will have 3 loads to peg out.
I'm doing really well in keeping my spending diary upto date so far. As well as the usual all DDs, food and petrol I've now got additional pages to keep a note of the following spends -
Haircuts
Dog food
Cat food
Window cleaner
All 4 mobile contracts
Dinner money
Football/rugby/swimming subs
Toiletries
Cash from cashpoint/cashback
Childminder/after school club
Perhaps its a bit extreme but hopefully I can/will keep it up.
Tomorrow will pay childminder, get petrol and pay 1 set of football subs.
Need to do meal plan and shopping list. Right off to check on fleabay stuff.

Yay its the weekend......thank heavens as I've had a horrible 24hrs.:(
I started to defrost the freezer last night (its in the garage), wiped all the baskets etc left the doors open the promptly went to bed and forgot about it, woke up to a large puddle on the garage floor. Whilst not a major problem could of done without it at 7.00am this morning.
My feet have been killing me having to wear 'those' shoes to work, so I'm keeping an eye on some brand new ones of fleabay.
When I got home tonight everybody was in a grumpy mood and DS3 well he had the attitude of a 16 year old tonight. Anyway went shopping with my list to sburys and A1di, got petrol (didn't get it yesterday so its wasn't in Januarys figures), DS3 and OH had Maccies and everything was going OK......until we got home.
A bulb had gone upstairs and it had blown the fuse for the lights, now its an old fashioned one with fuse wire which does need replacing and we did have some fuse wire but do you think we could find it, oh no!! Whilst I was trying to put stuff away in the freezer in the garage OH had practically tipped every little pot out to try and find a fuse or some wire. Anyway 30minutes later he found some wire and that was sorted.
Went to get DS3 in the shower and that's when all hell broke loose, I dread to think what the neighbours thought, I ended up shouting at him which made him cry even louder, DS2 and DS3 tried to help but he was having none of it. He hasn't had a tantrum like that for ages, he was still sobbing for about half an hour after.
Then me and OH had words not sure really what it was all about, think it was just a build up of things. When we were out earlier I said I though the car smelt hot and his reply was 'Oh', didn't seem in the tiniest bit concerned. Love him to bits but sometimes he doesn't half frustrate me.
Anyway back to spending for January, petrol £120 really pleased with that, and groceries £464 really need to get that under control in February.
The fleabay stuff isn't looking good, one item has 18 watchers and not 1 bid and its only on for 99p.

Thanks Granny, you know we got up this morning and everything was back to normal, just as if nothing had happened. Although I haven't seen the neighbours yet.
Took DS2 to football this morning 60mile round trip eek!!, spent 40p on a glass of squash for DS3, then £2 on 2 cones of chips for DS2 and DS3.
We are off out tonight to a charity fund raising evening, it was £10 for the family ticket, we've got £15 for drinks and I'll take £10 to spend on the raffle, tombola etc.
Weekly update on £2 pot - upto £18 and 20p pot upto £13.80.
Off to get washing in..xx

We had a great night last night although we did overspend on drinks, had to use our back-up £10 note for drinks.....keeping up appearances and all that.;)
Everybody started to talk about their holiday plans for this year, their Easter breaks, 2 weeks in the summer in the sun and then camping in Cornwall over the August bank holiday as well, I really don't know how they do it. We just kept quiet, I can't see us going away, I suppose I could of looked at the breaks/vouchers they do in the paper.:(
We just have enough cash for milk money for DS3 and OHs footie, today we won't be going anywhere to spend money so it should be NSD1.
Going to put some more stuff on fleabay later, although hope I get a flurry of bids later on the stuff that finishes today or will only of made pence not pounds.

Just popping in for a mo but just wanted to say am sure these people are just keeping up appearances..they have to be. I cannot think of anyone who feels totally secure at the moment, lots of people I know that are thinking twice about spending or cutting back.
You're doing the right thing. Don't get drawn in! We went away last year with friends for a £10 pp holiday from the local paper and it was actually a real laugh. 3 nights was a decent break too. May be worth thinking about. We had a front row chalet, just up from the beach. We didnt do any paid stuff, just beach and playground. Kids thought it was great fun.
Have a good eve
