S@nt@nder on the other hand have apparently sold the debt to Viking Debt Collecting Agency. Of which I have never heard of, and certainly haven't had anything from them. On the statement from Stepchange, it still say S@nt@nder. The last statement I received was for the last 6 months of last year, so I'm due one any time now.
On the money front, I've been paid :T, meal plan working...just about, DSs 2 and 3 having school dinners, like I say not very MSE but it seems to work at the moment. Had another couple of NSDs, but have lost track of the total for the month.
No pegging out.
Spends coming up, DS1s flights, his insurance and schools fees/housing top up. (He does have some money from working). The next two years are going to be tight.
Other spends coming up, summer childcare - DS1 will of gone back to his studies, and DS2 will be working his summer job.
Xx
Hi Alice,
None of my creditors requested bank statements or wage slips and if they had I wouldn't have sent them. Cap one are my biggest debt as well, do you know why they want this info? An I&e should be sufficient which I did through nedcab but adapted my payments to match sc's.
Don't forget you are in charge!!! Also 4 of my creditors gave me bank details over the phone so I think they are playing games. I would ring and ask again after all they want paying!

Not sure why Capital One won't give bank details when they are here - http://www.capitalone.co.uk/support/faqs/statement-payments-interest.jsf on their website.
I think they are just being difficult.
I'm with Puzz on this one, there is no need to send wage slips or bank statements to them.
Viking Debt Collection is the debt side of Santander - this is illegal now and they have to make clear that Viking is just another team within Santander. You should keep your normal reference number even once it has gone to them.0 -

Thanks EE, I'll can pay them now.
I've never had any correspondence regarding Viking. The guy on the phone definitely said the debt had been sold.
Do I use the reference number that SC used, or the one on the statements?

I've noticed that on the SC statement our DFD was November 2018. Can't wait for everything to be up and running properly so we can chip away at that. I'm really trying to stay positive.
We've borrowed a carpet cleaner so just got to get the shampoo and that's our job for the weekend.
Today was a NSD and got 2 loads dry on the line.:)

Personally I would be using the ref on the statements as SC may have had their own ref so the banks knew who it was from as the banks/financial institutions have to give a percentage of the money SC collect back to them as commission (which is how they remain a free service).0

Hi Alice,
Read your entire diary through a few weeks back  Then life got in the way ie I found a joband I didn't get round to commenting. Loved being plunged into a world of sport clubs and juggling and pegging out washing.
You've done really well. :T
How old is DS3? I've seen you mention needing summer childcare for him. Just wondering if you have to use a regular childminder or we could perhaps suggest some other options to you, that might be cheaper. My DD's School holidays are 7 weeks long this year!0 -

Thanks EE, I'm going to pay c@pital tonight (should of done it days ago!!)
Often wondered how SC make their money.

Hi Spendless, thank you for your kind comments. I am is it a tad obsessed with pegging out.:rotfl:
DS3 is in juniors. We can ask some family to help, that would be a few days here and there. We use the after school club usually, and there is another holiday club we can use but they are £25 and £30 per day.
There are 3 weeks we haven't got covered at the moment.
7 weeks!! Wow that's some summer break.:)
Congratulations on the job.:)

Nothing much to repot. Had 2 NSDs so far but today I need petrol and we need some fresh supplies.:rotfl:
DS1s return flight booked.Still waiting to hear what funding he will get towards his school fees next year. Providing he keeps getting the scholarship he'll do another 2 years.
DS3s trainers need replacing......there is always something!!
Have a great day everyone.

RL is so hectic at the moment. Had a letter from c@pital confirming the account number. Thankfully it's the same as the statement. (Thank you EE).
Had a letter from cab0t too, the debt with them is now £62, the other is £3630 (York bank visa).
Tuesday got petrol £30 and food £49. Yesterday was a NSD, number 3. Today have paid works lottery, 2 collections at work £10, and went out after work with some colleagues, spent £17:eek:
Pegged out today, I've got a mountain sized ironing pile, got a pile of paperwork I've stuffed in a bag and is hidden in the cupboard, feel a bit out of control to be honest. Need to get back on track with the debt mountain too.
Roll on the weekend, hoping to catch up with everything. Also feel very anxious about DS going back.
