  • Haven't got a weekend free where we can do a car boot. I know I should fleabay again but......:o

    Xx

Could you sell on local FB sites or even gumtree?

Gumtree would be more private if you don't want family seeing what you are selling.

Although too be honest people who I know are well-off sell their unwanted items on Facebook now - I think recycling/reusing by selling on is acceptable practice nowadays.

    Hi EE,

I could and should try gumtree. The local FB sites have been mentioned before, not sure about those......don't know why.:o.

The whole fleabay thing just stresses me out. I get paranoid I'll get a bad review. Had trouble with an item I sold a few weeks ago. Gave them a full refund but the tone of the message they sent me made me feel so guilty and useless.

    Must get my act together!!

  • Forgot to mention have done meter readings, we have used £29 over 2 weeks.

Today was a NSD, number 8.

Tomorrow need to get petrol, barbers open late so think I'll take kids to get their haircut after work.

Glad about the BC refund too. Well done for taking them on and also reaching that milestone. Sending you a virtual glass of wine to celebrate :D

  • Took kids to get haircut yesterday after work, cost £15 for both. Got petrol £30 then kids had fast food for tea. Not very healthy or MSE and not on the meal plan.:o

Called into s'market to get some essentials including stuff for my hair. I couldn't rock the wild look any longer, stuff was £8. total spent £21.

Today should be NSD 9. Declined lunch date.:o. But do need £10 for collections at work. Will pay tomorrow.

  • Thanks brizzle.:)

Monday came and went, was NSD10.

Yesterday OH went to Dr's, ended up getting 3 prescriptions, he then went to the chemist and got all 3 things, when he really only need one thing to begin with (if it didn't work he would then of needed to get the other 2 things) that was £24 gone. I wasn't very pleased, he admitted he didn't think.

I met my parents for lunch yesterday. I got the drinks, they paid for lunch. I was feeling a bit low (thanks Mother Nature!) and I just left feeling very guilty about our situation. That along with OHs spends on prescription I had a mini meltdown last night. :o

Today was the start of my time off so I pegged 2 loads of washing out, packed up the car and went to a park 45min drive away. Had a lovely day and I feel positive again.:)

The petrol light is on in both cars, but payday for OH tomorrow.
