I knew it was coming...we've had an email from E0n, they are putting our DD up to £92 per month from July's payment.
Yesterday was NSD 7 but need to get petrol (in the other car) and a few bits tonight on the way home.
xx
Hi Alice in Poorland
Hope you don't mind me popping on to your thread but thought I'd let you know about a facility on our website that gives you more control over your monthly payments. It's the 'Direct Debit Manager' and sorry if you already know about it.
If you've registered with our website, you can use this tool to keep an eye on things including altering the payments. Comes in handy should circumstances change. Provided the account is billed up to the latest meter readings, payments can be changed by up to 20 per cent up or down. By up to 5 per cent up or down without readings. Before confirming the new amount, we'll let you know by how much we anticipate the account will be in credit/debit by the time of the annual review if payments are changed but usage doesn't alter as expected.
Whilst on our website, check out the Saving Energy pages too. There's lots of useful tips, including a bit of a fun quiz, to help you save money by saving energy.
Sorry for the intrusion but hope the information's useful and helps save a bit.

EE not sure how come we are using my E and G. Certainly haven't changed the hot water timer so no more gas used there. Could DS2 have been on his games console instead of revising I wonder!?! Perhaps it's because I straightened my hair a few times!?! Really not sure we're are just going to have to be more aware of what we are using.
Thanks for the note re St. John's wort.:)
Thank you Malc from EON.

Not sure where we are at with NSDs, upto 8 I think?
Car got through MOT, cost £68.
We've had the latest statements for our 'old' Yorkshire accounts. The balances are £348 and £289. Would love to overpay these and get them out of the way before Christmas.:o
Have updated spending/diary budget. We seem to have over spent on petrol and food this month.
Tomorrow we are at a sports meeting. Will take a picnic, so need to call into supermarket this afternoon. Have got a list so I will try not to deviate from that.;)
Got loads of washing dry today.:). House looking messy.
DS3 had haircut this morning £6.40. Window cleaner did all windows yesterday £10. Have sent DS1 £100.

Spent £68 at the supermarket yesterday. That did include some toiletries.
This morning I had the chance to go to c0stc0 spent £35.
Then called in to the garden centre and got some weed/feed for the front grass. Not to bothered about the back but the front.......keeping up appearances and all that. Also got a new smelly candle.....just a little treat.
At the sports thing this afternoon we spent £2 entry fee and £3.75 on ice creams.
Have paid for everything in cash. It means we have £36 left, so out of that will pay for petrol this week.

Think I ended up with only 8 NSDs in June. Room for improvement me thinks.
Yesterday I had to get petrol, just put £10 in, paid cash.
Had a statement from S@nt@nder, CC debt now down to £1120ish. Can't remember the exact amount, but paying £21 per month.
Have run out of fresh fruit and salad stuff, might call into supermarket tomorrow, but everything requires so much effort in this heat.......I'm not complaining though.:D

Hi Alice! Can't manage all 122 pages but can relate to your hair issue. I too am rocking the wild look but have the "I'm growing out my pixie cut" as a valid excuse!
You've managed to shift nearly 10 years off your dfd so well done to you. Hope I can manage to pay mine off before my dfd xLoan : £7624.22

Apart from YNAB using cash is a really good way of keeping a firm check on spending. Think this is a good idea for you all.
Partners...well....love mine to bits but we drive each other mad too...never tried to count to 10 to be fair...always seem to resort to the fishwife pose

Hi Kate, I wouldn't wish those 122 pages on anybody.:rotfl: I love a pixie cut but I can't afford the maintenance of it, hence the wild look.....and in this humid weather it is a nightmare.
Do you have a diary too? Good luck with your debt busting.

hi brizzle, loving the pegging out, I've had washing dry overnight as it has been so warm. Thankfully DS2 has finished school now so is at home to fetch it in once it's dry, so it doesn't go all crispy.
Love the fishwife pose, I have to count to a thousand sometimes.:D
Hope you have a good one too.

Another hectic week, one of the oldies has had another fall and is in hospital so we've been visiting, so extra petrol and parking (not complaining though!). Hopefully they will get some support now.
OH has needed 2 new tyres on his bike, the cycle path has been covered in broken glass and he got 4 punctures in one day.....not a happy bunny. He's gone to get them, think they will be about £15 each.
We've sent DS1 some more money (£200) which means we will have to half our payment to stepchange next week. Not happy about it and it is playing on my mind. It's not what it's for, it's just I don't want to upset the creditors. DS1 only has another 12 months then we can throw the money we send him at the debt.....just got to get through the 12 months first.
Plus we've got extra childcare costs during the summer holidays so no 'spare' money. We've tried to contact stepchange last night and this morning but the answer phone message states they only open 8.00-6.00 Monday to Saturday.......but according to the website they are open until 8.00pm in the week and 8.00-4.00 on sunday.:o
Getting to grips with paying cash for everything, feels like we are more in control. Plus it's stopping that temptation to overspend.
Today I'm going to have a housework day, it's got to be done.:)
Hope everybody has a good day.
