    Hi Alice

Sorry to hear about all the problems over the last week, glad you are much happier now t2706.gif

I agree that PMA is the way to go.

2 weeks ago I had 1 day where I had a Negative Mental Attitude and it got me no where and then a few hours later I realised that they were all first world problems and I should buck my ideas up!!
Usually I see the positive in everything but that day I couldn't.

Stupid tree and fence panels - fingers crossed the tree is safe now and won't cause any more problems.

Will DS1 need to come back early?

I am also t6013.gif and although it is t113004.gif , it is also t110002.gif so my washing is drying ultra quick which is great as I have stripped all the beds including mattress protectors (I have spare duvet sets obviously but only 1 protector per bed so need them dry by tonight)

Hope you have a great weekend!!
  • Love the smilies EE, and yes you are totally right, my/our problems are absolutely nothing in the big scheme of things. Don't know if it was any particular thing, think it was just a combination of everything coming all at once. Like yourself thankfully it doesn't happen too often.

At the moment I don't think DS will come home but it will limit him. Plus he has lost his sponsor so the pressure is really on.

Hasn't todays weather been perfect for getting the washing dried.:)
I got all the bedding dried in record time too....and have done the ironing tonight.....rock and roll.:rotfl:

Down to pennies until OH gets paid on Thursday.

Note to self must book MOT.

    Xx

  • Hi Alice just thought I'd pop in and say hello. Thank you so much for doing this diary and being so honest and truthful. I've read it from start to finish (Took me a couple of week). I'm just starting my DMP journey and am in a similar position to you. I now feel hopeful we can get through this thanks to you and others who have done diaries.

I've subscribed and hope you don't mind me popping in :)

Hi HTBDF, Awww thank you, I couldn't do this journey without doing this diary and the help and support of folk on here I'm sure.....I went a bit AWOL this week and think it added to my frustration.

Good luck on your journey. I'm sure you can do it. Pop in anytime.:)

  • Today was NSD 3. The garden is all back together and tidy, although looks bare where the tree was. Will plant a replacement....when we get some spare pennies.:o

Took DS3 out on his bike this afternoon, had lovely BBQ tea and sorted money out for next week. Have just about got bus fare for DS2, purse is now empty.

Can't believe it's Sunday night already.:(

  • We've received a statements for the Bcard loan. Current balance £1600, paying £72 per month (apart from this month), means we have 23 months left to go on this debt.:)

Tea was different shall we say, used bits and pieces up so we all had something different, empty plates all round so couldn't of been that bad.:)

    Today was NSD4.

  • Trying to keep motivated so went through the paperwork that had gathered on the kitchen side. Found a few money off coupons/vouchers so will utilise them over the next week. Now the challenge is to get it filed away!!

Haven't paid this months childcare fees yet.

Still haven't booked car in for MOT, doh!!

OH called into supermarket for some basics tonight, spent £14. Car needs petrol but [STRIKE]hoping[/STRIKE] it will have to wait until Thursday. Should be enough to get me to work tomorrow.

Got social things planned this weekend. Budget for Saturday night is £25. Will need a few £'s for Saturday afternoon (school fair).

  • Had a statement from Bcard today, current balance £5765.

Absolutely running on fumes in the car tonight on the way home. Will have to call into the independant petrol station in the morning. Will have to pay a few pence per litre mire do will just put £10 I'm.

DS3 is starting at BMX club tomorrow, £20 for 6 weeks.

Also need to pay £8 for school trip for DS3, and get a leaving gift for DS2s tutor. He's had this tutor guy for 5 years and he's been absolutely great with DS2 so he'd like to get him a gift. Will have to think of something quick as I've got to get it tomorrow night!!.....not very organised. Tut tut.

  • Another Bcard statement (OH's this time) current balance £1340. We currently only pay £21 per month on this debt.

Went food shopping tonight £75. That did include some toiletries, cleaning stuff and 3 boxes of cereal which one of the boxes was £3.90. The other two were shops own brand and cheaper!!

    Also got petrol £30.

Managed to get another load of washing dried today......not looking promising for the weekend.:o

  • Yesterday was a little spendy. Spent £18 at the school fair:eek: last night spent £25. Also I had to get a new baby gift, spent £10. Luckily I had a card I could use, not quite 'congratulations on your new arrival' but it was suitable.

Anyway had a fab night. :)

This morning I put 3 loads of washing out, then packed up a picnic and we went to the local park. We had a lovely time, only cost was £3.00 parking.

The only downside is that I had a headache when we got back. Had a little nap and I feel a lot better. Think it was lack if sleep....not alcohol related.;)

Decided I'm going to deal in cash more. Going to take cash out on a Thursday to get food shopping and social activities and then once it's gone...it's gone.

    Still haven't booked car MOT.

    Still only had 4 NSDs.:o
