  • Hi Alice
Just a thought but we use our Tesco club card points to buy our RAC membership each year so in a way it doesn't cost us anything
Keep up the good work you are doing really well

Thanks debs, I must confess I haven't done anything about it the last few days.:( I am definitely going to sort it tomorrow night.:)

  • The last few days have just flown by. I haven't been getting home from work until late and ferrying the kids around to their various clubs , I haven't had a night in so far this week.:(

Tomorrow night I'm going to update spending diary/budget. Also sort AA out.......that is a must!!

Monday and Tuesday were NSDs, upto 10 for April.

Tonight I had to get petrol £30, spent £45 in @ldi and £31 in sburys. Tomorrow will pay childminder and works lottery.

    Stilll plodding. ;)

    Thanks brizzle.:)

We've heard from the tax credit people and no go. Not entitled to anything. On the letter they made reference to the overpayment we are paying back (last payment paid today, phew!), and noted there is still £350 which is still under query and to be decided if its overpayment! First time I've heard about that additional amount.

We've got to make a decision on the AA tomorrow latest, I'm still holding out for a better deal.:o

DS1 comes home for the summer middle of June, this is the deadline for doing a carboot as if I don't DS1 won't have anywhere to sleep, as I'm using his room for storage. It's still at the back of my mind how DS1, us, whoever are going to pay his sponsor back or at least just help out a bit more. If we weren't paying £475 towards our debt we'd be able to help more. Really don't like wishing the years away but can't wait til it's all paid off.:o

Only plans for this weekend so far are out Saturday night to nieces dance presentation, should be a fairly cheap one. ;)

Yeah, I knew we wouldn't get anything, but you've got to try haven't you.;) just got to wait and see about the blooming overpayment now.

I managed to get the AA for £38, but that covers the car not me and OH, that means the 'other car' isn't covered. I'm hoping we get a cheeky special offer come through to add the other car.;)

Yesterday was NSD1. This morning DS2 and DS3 have got things going on at the sports club. I'm off to peg out and then get ready.:)

Hope everybody has a great day.

Last night was quite a cheap night out, 'dancing' is not my cup of tea but was lovely to see our nieces. We called into supermarket on the way to get our contribution of snacks/nibbles, £3.49!!

Other spends yesterday were £5.95 in @ldi, I'd forgot to get toilet roll when I went shopping so we called in to @ldi and got washing up liquid, toilet roll (OH got the luxury ones!, we normally have sburys basic £1.99 for 6 or C0stco special deal), kitchen roll and some water......don't ask.

Also called into B0dyc@re to get DS2 deodorant and shampoo. All these little shops soon add up. Today should be a NSD though.

Today we are planning to do some gardening and sort the shed out. Get some jobs done today and have a chill out day tomorrow. Have done meter readings but E0n website not working.

A bit lapse with the pegging out this morning, only just put the washing machine on!:rotfl:
