Thanks for the info hedgehog, I wonder if there are any deals with car insurance too?

I really must get some quotes for the car insurance to compare the renewal price. Which is actually the same as last year. So many things to do....:o

Yesterday had to get milk and bread and petrol.

Need to tally up the NSDs for this month. Roll on pay day.:o:)

  • Today I've spent £31 in sburys, I did buy DS3 a new top for Saturday night but even so, and women's things (so expensive!).

Had the other car fixed, £50. The guy also showed OH some work that needs doing on the steering, this was picked up by another garage that did its MOT so we were aware of it. Looking at £100. Will need doing sooner rather than later.:(

On a good note we are under 25K, current debt outstanding £24745, we gave paid off £10323 through stepchange. I'd have to look back to see how much we had left to pay of the car loan when we started our DMP, think it was £2500?........4years 3months to go.:o

  • Thank you brizzle, Dolphin1 and mummy, I'm trying really hard to keep the momentum up, we've got some big spends coming up - car MOT and service amongst other things unfortunately.:o

Tonight OH wanted chips after football training, so we had chip butties for tea. Not very MSE and definitely not on my healthy eating plan.

Haven't bothered to do any washing tonight as the weather is meant to be pants tomorrow.:(

We will have extra childcare costs next week as it's half term.

  • Had a great night last night, shame we spent £22 though. It's alright trying to support our local club but think we'll have to rein it in a bit. :(

At 5.30 this morning it was pouring with rain, when I woke again at 8.30:eek: (must of needed those extra few hours!) the sun was out. Quickly put a wash on, have now managed to put 2 loads out.....don't think I'll risk any more. I like not having to have the clothes airers out.:D

DS1 is ready to come home, sooner than we thought. So need 'we' need to change his ticket, cost about £120:eek: can't wait to see him though.:o

Spent £35 in sburys yesterday, picked up a bday present in the clothes section as they have 25% off! shame they didn't have DS3s school trouser for next year in the right colour and size. Might go and try again on Monday.

Need to work out how much extra we need to pay out in June. So far I think it's -

    'Other' Car repairs - £100
Car mot and service - ??
    DS1 - £120
    Extra Childcare for next week
    DS2s cricket subs

DS3 at a bday party this afternoon. Shouldn't be any 'spends' today.
