Today we've had some spends on a bit of essential house maintenance, £37.:(
OH is keen to do all sorts to house now we've had a trip to the DIY store. Think we'll be sticking to just essential maintenance for a while.:o
Have priced changing DS1s ticket, £137:eek:. Won't do it until I get paid on Wednesday.
Had a lovely stir fry for tea. Managed to get some washing dry but left a load out whilst we nipped out and it got soaked.
Kids have had a bit of cabin fever this afternoon due to the weather been rubbish, and although the weather has been pants this weekend the time has just flown by.....:(

Morning Alice,
The weather was ok here all weekend. It was dry and warm anyway, very cloudy but we managed to get 4 washes done and dried :j It's the little things that make us happy heyHowever we're also forecast rain now for the rest of the week and i've no money readily available as it's pay day on Friday so not sure how to keep the little ones amused yet
When will your DS1 be home? I bet you can't wait, I used to hate it when my ds1 was away from home and would count down the days constantly to when he was backxxx

I am very excited. He'll be home for the summer and then goes back again. It will feel good to have all our 'babies' back under one roof.:D
I haven't got anytime booked this week. I'm saving my holiday for the 6weeks summer holiday, OH now only gets 3 weeks so has to use his sparingly too.:(

Went to make the sandwiches last night and the bread was mouldy. It was only dated yesterday so not sure what happened there.
We did have some W'burton Thins, so I did OH some of these, he's never had them before and you'd think I was trying to poison him. 'Will I like them?' he said, my reply 'It's these or nothing!'. Haven't heard from him today so not sure if he's eaten them or gone hungry!!!;)
So tonight will have to get some bread and more petrol.

Hi Granny, it drives me mad sometimes, as a youngster he was told he wouldn't like so many foods, even before he tried them. He is a lot better than he used to be but still has his moments.....anyway he did survive.:rotfl:
I called and got bread and milk on the way home.....and some strawberries.....I just fancied some.
Need to compare car insurance quotes before the end of the week.
