Thanks Mrs PG, yeah SC like everything to stay as agreed. OH will give Bcard a call, lets see what they say...... and I do have to remind him to get the name of the person he speaks to so we can put anything agreed in writing.:o .......teach me suck eggs anyday Mrs PG, I'm gratefull for any help and advice.:)
Hope that one day we can build up an account to pay some F & Fs.
Car is in for its MOT tomorrow, got everything crossed.
Today was not a NSD (still stuck on 10 NSDs), paid childminder, works lottery, football subs, got petrol and some bits for DS2s cooking tomorrow. Yesterday was a LSD as OH went to get bread.
Off to a 21st birthday on Saturday, need a present! Also some drinks money, and petrol to get there about 60mile round trip. Also DS2 is desperate for some new jeans/chinos or whatever they are called as he has nothing to wear
OH going to sort his phone out tomorrow after work tomorrow......hope he sticks to the plan.
Heathly eating going OK, to be honest I haven't been that hungry....thinks its the weather.
What a rambling post:rotfl: xx

Carp about the car but could, as you say, have been worse, especially if you'd use the money to pay E0n already

Thanks granny, at least its all sorted now even if the emergency fund is not looking as healthy as it could of.:(
OH sorted his phone out yesterday........but ended up paying a £4 a month more...........I did say we're not allowed any more 'debt' on our DMP but he's giving up playing football so that will save £3 a week.
I've been to sburys this morning, spent £48 but that did include cat litter, toiletries and washing liq. I've been buying sburys basic washing liq and adding soda crystals to it and it seems to be working fine, not sure how it will cope with the muddy sports stuff in the winter but OK for now, and still using vinegar as fabric conditioner. I was in DS1s car so put £10 petrol in that.
Won £2.80 on last nights lottery, so 80p up, hehehe......but in total (inc. OHs and my works lottery) we spent £5.50 on the lottery last week......it's a mugs game eh!
I pegged out at silly o'clock this morning but have just fetched it in as its raining and looks set to carry on for a few hours.....clothes airers up in June..tut tut.
I've lost 2lb this week, only 2lb but feel loads better, I wonder if not eating much in the evening suits me??!!
DS2 has gone to a free sports coaching session this morning, OH has gone to help his mate fit a carpet, and when they are back we're going to get birthday present for tonight and DS2 some clothes to wear.
DS3s school shoes have worn through now so he'll be in his black trainers until school finishes I'm afraid.:o

Know how you feel...DD2 has been in trainers for weeks now..or Converse. Luckily her primary school lets her, they are not fussy re shoes..unless they are flip flops or crocs;)
Glad you look like you are set for a good weekend. XMFiT-T4 Member No. 96 - 2022 is my MF goal

My ds2 is also in trainers ...i'm not buying a new pair for a couple of weeks of use! And besides i'm hoping he grows a size in the summer so I can use the free ones I got hold of a few months ago :rotfl:
Sorry to hear about the MOT....I think ours is going to go the same way as yoursmaking worrying noises and I only have £170 saved in the fund for the car......! (MOT due next month or August so can top it up a bit i hope!!)

Sorry about the car failing the MOT, cars are pants.
Next month I need to put 2 tyres on mine and DH needs car tax, month after I need to Tax mine, its never ending and don't even get me started on fuel.0 -
Thanks brizzle and DFW321, over the next few weeks I bet more and more kids are in their 'trainers'.
PWPS, totally agree, we have been down to 1 car for 12months but have been helping DS1 run his (as we borrow it on occassion), so I can't say we've really noticed any saving.:(
Yesterday turned into a bit of a spend day. DS2 had new chinos and a shirt from Mat-ar-lan, £30 in total. When we got home we noticed one of the buttons has broken. He did wear it last night but I'm really tempted to take it back for an exchange.
We needed a new tin opener, the one we had had broken and we'd been using the one out of the camping stuff but that had broken too. So we called into A3da as we were at the out of town shopping centre, spent £14:eek:, got tin opener £5:eek:, wine, tom sauce (both on offer) and come chicken things for the kids to eat as I didn't want to pay for McD's and they were starving!!!
On the plus side only spent £14 at the party.:) We haven't got any 'social' activities until the end of July so hopefully can save some money...........that sounds terrible but you know what I mean.
OH wants to go to C0stc0 today, yes we could do with some cat food and other bits but it's not desperate......I reckon he just wants a hotdog from their cafe!!
Need to do some housework, and ironing...uniforms at least.
Nearly forgot I lost 2lb last week, I feel like I've lost about 7lb, this healthy eating and not eating a 'big' dinner seems to be working, lets see how this week goes.
