Well done on the weight loss
I have 2lb to go until I reach 1stone off :T It's getting harder and harder to lose though !
wow that was an expensive tin opener! I buy the 69p ones from the supermarkets (price may have gone up since last time I bought one though lol) I've been through several expensive but nice looking ones and always resort back to the 69p one that i bought years ago (plain silver).
As for Party invites. July is shaping up to be the busiest month everI have 8 family birthdays already plus 2 kids invites so far for DD. 1 more for ds2 and 1 more has been mentioned plus their own birthday party in the middle of the month! AND it's a 5 week month
we are going to be so poor i think by the end of it !!!

Well done on the weight loss DFW, after my post earlier it all went a bit down hill with a packet of crisps and a slice of brioche...oops. Back to my healthy eating plan tomorrow.
The tin opener was a bit extortionate, the camping one was a 69p one, we must of been through 4 this year so we'll see how a more expensive one goes....not saying its going to last any longer, we'll see. I don't actually think we open that many tins.:(
We went to C0stc0 and got catfood, paper towels and then only spent £12ish on food. I'm pretty impressed with that, compared to other times we've been there........oh and £3 in their cafe.
This afternoon we've had a chill out watching Ir0n M@n 2 on DVD we'd borrowed of a friend, a quick tidy up all round then jackets for tea and I've just done all the ironing.:)
I need to do the money for the week ie bus, milk money etc and sort through a pile of post.
Hope everybody has had a great weekend despite the weather. xxDMP with CCCS started Jan12 £34,906 Jan13 £31,893 Jan14 £26,836 Jan15 £21,894 Jan16 £16,839 Jan17 £14,415 Jan19 £12,938ish Jan19 £9,649 Jan20 £6612 Feb 21 0 Self managed from Jan'17

OH has had a letter back from the Tax Office changing his tax code....all to do with the letter we sent regarding washing his own uniform.......adding £120 to his personal allowance.
Worth the cost of a stamp!
Another NSD today...number 11.:)
Still waiting to hear from Tax Credit people regarding our 'overpayment'.
Had a really busy day a work, stuck to the healthy eating plan and have been busy a home tonight. Cleaned the bathroom, sorted washing....got 2nd load in at the mo, vac'd all upstairs, helped DS2 tidy his bedroom....just so we could see the floor!!
Going to have an early night......just so I don't eat anything I shouldn't!:o

Hi alice just catching up since had a little break. Sometimes it feels like one step forward and two steps backwards. When I had an overpayment of tax credit of £300 they deducted it over 12 monthes.
Trying to do healthy eating but just baked a batch of cupcakes which is defeating the object..x

Thanks amber, hope everything is OK with you. Good luck with the healthy eating, at least you know what has gone into HM cupcakes......mind you they don't last very long in our house.xxmummytogirls wrote: »Morning Alice,

I couldn't get the laptop to fire up last night.:(
I was on a mission when I got home yesterday, me and OH did the front garden and borders, I swept the drive and the patio and a bit of snipping here and there. We didn't have our tea until nearly 7.30pm.......BLTs on ciabatta. The garden looks lovely now.:)
Tonight I'm going to do the ironing (washing that dried yesterday). I'm trying to keep myself busy to stop snacking here and there....(and keeping off the vino!!)......so far so good on the healthy eating plan. Although running out of fruit and salad stuff...oops.
I've reduced the number of hours per day the hot water is on. It's usually on for 3hrs in the morning and about 6 in the afternoon/evening. I've reduced it by about 2hrs per day........I've tried leaving it on all the time but not happy doing that as it makes all sorts of noises when I do that. Also we're all (well nearly all of us!!) are having 4 minute showers now we've got the timer.
Yesterday was NSD12 but today I need to get petrol and some bits for DS2s cooking....which the kids will have as their tea tomorrow night.
OH still hasn't had his Bike to Work voucher even though they took the first payment last week. The first payment was £12.37 , I'm not sure how they work it out, OH chasing a copy of the agreement, will see what this weeks wage slips says.
Hopefully laptop will work tonight so I can catch up on diaries! xxDMP with CCCS started Jan12 £34,906 Jan13 £31,893 Jan14 £26,836 Jan15 £21,894 Jan16 £16,839 Jan17 £14,415 Jan19 £12,938ish Jan19 £9,649 Jan20 £6612 Feb 21 0 Self managed from Jan'17

OH has had a cheque from the Tax people, £46 rebate for 'washing his own uniform'.:) We were thinking we could use some of that for just the 2 of us to go out, although we need to rekindle our relationship think we'll put it in the emergency fund for now.:o
Today I'm paying the childminder and putting £20 in the leisure pot, so not a NSD.
We need to replace the toilet seat again as its broke....what are we doing with it!!! Could always use the rebate money.......how romantic is that.:rotfl:
