It was the chemo that was easing mine as hadn't had steroids for ages..5 years on chemo OMG..is it a lower dose than for cancer patients?

Yup, the dose is tiny compared to having it for cancer - I just find it slightly freaky to be taking it .... especially for such a long time :o

Dr gave me some NSAIDs .... helping a little bit - hoping they'll kick in a bit more in a few days.

This is so good to hear. The back pain sounds horrible, especially with the potential allergic reaction to things that might help it. What a mean and unfair price to have to pay for being off the chemo drugs.

I've lived with the pain for years ..think it feels worse has it has been gone for a good while and has come back with a vengeance.I'll get used to it again though.
