Sad News Oct 2013
We have heard that Taxi has sadly passed away. If you were entertained, interested or inspired by this diary - or formed a friendship with Taxi on these forums (as many did) please feel free to post your condolences to it. We will be closing the thread to new contributions in a few weeks.
My sympathies and those from all of the MSE team to Taxi's family. RIP.

HI THERE,
Thought it would be nice to start a new diary as I'm at the next stage in my life and my previous one was very long.
A little bit about me(for those that don't know me already)...I was in debt for a lot of money when I first joined here but managed to clear that in July 2010.
In May 2010 I found I had breast cancer and had surgery, chemotherapy and radiotherapy which finished new years eve 2010...
I have spent 2011 trying to become fit and healthy.....
I've lost over 4st so far and a long way to go yet
I gave up smoking 11 weeks ago today
I also have osteo artritis and a couple of side effects from treatment still.
I have learnt so much from these boards hence how we're managing to survive on my husbands wages from the taxi which have decreased due to me not working now.I get ESA but probably not for much longer.
I am alive and that is the main thing...I intend to enjoy my life and will hopefully be around for a long time yet.
My plans are to get as fit and healthy as I can and still use my money saving ways to stretch our budget as far as possible.
Hope you'll all come along for the ride xxxx

Woo Hoo! I'm glad you've not left us, Taxi. I've followed you for a long while and it's not just your own story that has helped many of us but your down to earth attitude to life.
I really count you as a role model in coping and overcoming what life could throw at any of us at any time. But how can you know what you want till you get what you want and you see if you like it?0 -
