Thanks you lovely lot....you all knew I couldn't leave you all didn't you?
I bet you all want to know what I've been up to this month then...so make yourself a brew(I have) as it's going to be long....
Are you sitting comfortably?..Are you ready?
Healthwise:
Stopped smoking 11 weeks ago with patches and lozenges..not even had a sneaky one...have only one weeks worth of the lowest patches to use and that's me finished..wahoo
Weightwise...mmmm..weight has been very up and down last few weeks as my head hasn't been in the zone but my head is back in the zone and I've been tracking all week...
MSE wise...
DHs phone contract was due for renewal..managed to get him a samsung galaxy S2...for free with 200 mins, unlimited texts and 1GB data and 50 MMS FOR £25.50 P/M by threatening to leave o2..this also keeps our £5 discount of our o2 BB.
Got myself the Galaxy S2...from tesco mobile ..750mins,5000 texts,500Mb data...£30 p/m...my phone was with orange so couldn't barter for same deal with o2.
Sold my blackberry for £93 odd to CEX..lot better price than the mobile phone companies on the web
Have bought all the grandchildrens christmas presents...got the babies stuff on half price offer from Argos on new store opening offers...saving £50....JJs I got from B&Ms saving £60 on play.com prices and Charlottes I saved about £30 on Argos prices....
The grown ups will get a card with money in each so they can buy what they want.
I don't know if any of you remember we were trying to do the house up bit by bit before I got ill...but then it ended up on hold.
We have decided to make a start again...so
I was in Harveys the other week and fell in love with their Toulouse range of dining furniture so have ordered the extending dining table with 6 chairs, the small sideboard and the coffee table....I have used my 0% CC to buy them but have the money in the bank to pay them off but might as well keep my money in savings earning interest.
Am also on the look out for a new leather sofa and chair but haven't seen anything I like.
My boiler has had it's yearly service and both my gas fires are working again after a real good service. The window lock has been fixed as well.
Have just bought our train tickets for our trip for DHs birthday in Jan and e-mailed the hotel for them to confirm the booking. If they don't confirm this week I'll book somewhere else.
Brought Oct and Nov accounts up to date tonight...still have to finish last years off yet and bring April 2011-july 2011 up to date...
Am going to give downstairs a serious declutter and clean in the next week as have to get the area ready for delivery of furniture.
Can't think of much else that's happened in the last month but there probably is lots more
Sorry it was so long xx0 -
Hi everybody...took me that long to write that ..you all popped in..so nice to see you all xx0

Wow Taxi - you are doing really well both health and money wise!
You have done particularly well regarding the cigarettes. I wouldn't worry too much about the weight at the same time as it is hard to focus on so many targets, but once you've got that one nailed, you are sure to soldier on with the weight loss as well...if you manage to kick them all, you won't know yourself! :j :T
You are doing brilliantly - congratulations, and keep on enjoying yourself. You deserve it. :cool:Please call me 'Pickle'
No More Buying Books: ???

Yes, i have had a drink or two, so forgive me if i am a bit sentimental:DBlackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
Still lurking around with a hope of some salvation:cool:0 -
