This is so good to hear. The back pain sounds horrible, especially with the potential allergic reaction to things that might help it. What a mean and unfair price to have to pay for being off the chemo drugs.

    Couldn't agree more! Life's pants sometimes .....

Thanks everyone...ever havev one of those days where you knew you shouldn't get out of bed?
I slept in until 11am which was a nice start to the day.Not long after I got up MH nurse phoned me to say that she'd ordered the diazepam and it was ready at the DRs.I then intended in the afternoon to pick it up and go and get help filling in the DLA form..yeah right.
DH came home and made a brew and discussed the noises coming from the car...I knew it was the flywheel and that we might as well replace the clutch at the same time and that it would be expensive and I also knew something that attaches to the manifold and is something to do with performance needs doing.
So I rang the garage at 12.30 to try to arrange that they'd have the parts in and can do it wednesday and to get the price..much tooing and frooing and eventually got a call back at 5.45pm to saty it will cost me £2101.00 and that's with my discount...ouch..it's roughly an 11 hour job so off the road weds day and night and thursday day but needs doing.
So have not been to DRs or to sort out DLA form...
