Ok I'm a soppy sod, - but just reading that brought a tear to me eye, something so simple but a massive leap in the right direction, glad u had a gd day xx

I even went back yesterday by myself to have a look around and to get some chicken breasts as they had run out the day before...I only had a good look around the farm shop bit as it would take hours to look around the whole place..but I was out and by myself

Taxi, that sounds wonderful! You're really starting to be able to turn things around. Between a trip out by yourself like that, and Weight Watchers ... well done you!

I haven't done anything today as have been really tired even though I slept 12 hours last night !!!!!!..think it must be all this excitement..lol
I have my appointment with the Oncologist at noon on friday and my mental health nurse will come round late afternoon.I've decided I'm not going to do the card making until after my rads have finished as I don't want to start something then have to stop again only to start again.
I decided on WWs on saturdays as I won't have to miss any as rads are every day monday-friday.
DH has made a lovely dinner with chicken breasts that I bought yesterday at the garden centre place.I'm not hungry yet but he said they were lovely.
Not got a lot to report as nothing happening here

Its so good to hear your getting out and about, I can fully imagine it was a scary experience, but you did it, - and you enjoyed it - on bad days remember that experience and how good it felt.

Just a thought know the mh -nurse has suggested card making, - but the lady who I dealt with as sent me details of all the community activities and support groups in the area, a lot you don't need a gp referral, some mh referals other self help, but at a college 20 miles from us they do outdoor crafting, to me that jumped out.

def get yourself out and about, and well done on WW - need to get off my rear, promised DD we'd use Tesco vouchers 2wards a hol next yr - last yr at Primary school - hoping to do something at Easter - so far shes choosen Goa!! (I was thinking Malta etc.... ) but it be a goal to lose weight for xx
xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx

I'm so pleased you are getting out Taxi - makes a world of difference to well being. Even if it's a trip nowhere exciting it's outside of 4 walls, Little and often Taxi - it's been a long hard journey but step by step you are getting there :)

the card group thing isn't anything to do with the MH team it was one she found on the internet for me so anyone can go.
I'd have a serious think about taking DD to Goa as it's a very dirty place and the traffic on the roads horrendous plus the hotels aren't up to much.I certainly wouldn't take JJ there and DH and myself were both very ill there.

Cheers for that about Goa - I was due to go back in 2002 - but DD's impeeding arrival changed that - she wanted Gambia (been to one hotel - knew she would be ok) but dont want to drive to Gatwick, - shes got exotic on her brain - said Id sit and look with her 2mor. Hopefullly a few dodgy trip advisor reviews do the trick!!!

Never thought looking online for an activity - need to get off my rear and do something bar studying... x
