  • Hi, hectic few weeks and thus MIA. Back on track and need to catch up on diaries.

Total sold was over £2100 either FB or EB and I'm just waiting for last few bits to finish. I put two further tranches of stuff up for sale.

What's new here? I'm pretty sick of the rain but I guess we all are. I am behind with my financials and won't be able to catch up until next week. I have a new phone which I am delighted with :T. I also found a great deal for Mr T and his arrives today.

The house has settled into itself after all the changes. Our new lodger is working out well and only here three nights a week. So far we haven't actually seen him really, as he is an early starter/late finisher.

All in all, peaceful days in the Tilly household.

    Best wishes, Tilly xxx

lovely to hear from you. Sent you a text to old phone - hope it arrived to new phone :)
Fabulous selling and love the idea of a lodger you never see. I could do with one of those!
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!
  • Hi Watty, hope you have better weather than me - I am completely sick of the rain.

Given the referendum results, Mr T and I may see what can be done about moving before we are out of EU. Happy days

Project EatUp is underway in the Tilly household. £10/week for fresh fruit - garden and freezer has to provide the rest.

I am over run with strawberries :T. Broad beans :T. It will be a bumper raspberry year. Salad leaves are thriving and herbs love the rain.

I hope everyone has large access to a umbrella or two.

    Best wishes Tilly

These feel like very uncertain times Tilly. What timeframe did you have in mind for the move before all this? My DH spent most of yesterday researching moving abroad and property in France!

Not going for Plan B then?

    In the meantime:

We were planning on just over two years to fall in line when I can take my pension and Mr T being 50. Now we are looking to see if we can go much sooner. Who knows :(:(
