  • I really must listen to you lot:
    1. About 'things' - because I am moving I keep getting tempted by beautiful things to make everything beautiful.... DO NOT NEED!
    2. About the gym - eating down the freezer is not an excuse to eat everything all at once! :o

    Hi Tilly and friends

So good to hear things are going well..and yes a run would be good for me too.

Think I will try and go out before 'school' tomorrow. DD1 went out today with a friend - can't have these young things showing me up! :rotfl:

You're so right about grandparents and growing up children Tilly, my mum gets as much from being with hers as grown ups as she did when they were little and cute.
Ok they're not as cute any more but they are caring and pretty hilarious (also the two that she tut tuts over the most are actually mini-me personalities of her, which is also hilarious to the rest of the family).

I hope they all have a happy time and you and Mr Tilly enjoy a little you time! x

  • Hi Habibiboo, sadly Mr T will be away at the same time :(. However, I'm off out with a friend for drinks (cheap now I'm not drinking at all) so it will be a night of catch up and laughter.

Where do the weeks go? In my head I'm planning Friday night now and it's only Tuesday

  • Morning, I've checked T£sco clubcard points as I had a dodgy email. All ok and nothing expiring. Will save for Xmas I think.

No money news - NSD ahead and Chinese using beef I cooked on Sunday. It was supposed to be for last night but I had a pretty gruelling day in the office, didn't get home until after 7. Mr T and I sat outside for a while catching up (kids were out) the next minute it was 8.20pm  We ended up sharing fish and chips - portions are huge and this worked well.

Loads going on re change of life and I am praying for a positive outcome. It's a tricky path to navigate :o

What's happening today? I have to get the ironing finished - I hate having it lying around. Plus I want to get to the gym tonight for an hour - may drag DD with me.

It's much cooler and fresher today which is a relief.

Nearly the middle of the week :rotfl:

Morning, grave news indeed  I have no pennies anywhere to Tilly Tidy :eek:

I've dropped Mr T at the station and he's heading north. I'm breakfasted, showered and dressed ready to leave for work :)

We won't all reconvene until Friday as kids are away tonight and Mr T is home Thursday but late. Feels a bit odd as I'm out two nights and won't have an opportunity to appreciate the peace :o

Anyway, deep pockets, short arms continues this week - I have a £5 for Thursday as it's a cheap night out and that's it.

Still struggling with lunches but GallyGirl recommended a cereal and I've taken some to work. This means I can have natural yoghurt and a granola type topping, with fruit. I've gone off sandwiches and don't feel I have time/motivation to knock up a salad. Plus I have forgotten to buy cottage cheese, which I love with chilli flakes sprinkled lavishly over the top.

Right enough whining about unimportant stuff in the grand scheme of things. I'm waiting on an email which will be 50% of the life change plans, depending upon whether the response is positive/negative :)

I'd better grab my bag and run.

    Wednesday already

    Tilly xx

Hope email has good news. You so deserve it.

Away from OH for 2 nights this week too...don't like it, neither does he, like you - we do it cos we have to, not because we like it. Makes my desire to be DF and MF even stronger! Looking forward to a glass of my new Portuguese wine tho with OH tomorrow eve..enjoying the garden :)

  • Right, first email has arrived and is good news :j

Still more hoops to go through but getting there :)

If this all fails I will remind myself that I'll be MF next year anyway and spend my time contributing to the community :)
