  • Morning, looking forward to session at the gym this morning :)

    13p Tilly Tidy to MOS

HM pizza, salad with veg from garden and roast HG figs for dinner - the heat has been great for the figs.

Hi Sarah, I'm fortunate to be able to work anywhere :rotfl:

  • Evening,

Pizza's cooking - love Friday pizza night :)

Gym was fab this morning, then busy day but no change there. Kids are home and the family is reunited.

We are eating much later on the weekends in this heat - we've all had a mini siesta then reconvened for drinks in the garden. Elderflower cordial, loads of ice and sparkling water (thanks L!dl)

Hope everyone's had a good week.

    Morning, just.....

2 beds stripped, shopping finished and lovely lady in L!dl gave me a £5 off voucher from the paper :A £59

Washing on the line, fairly breezy and hopefully will dry quickly.

I'm off to meet a girlfriend for lunch - out of entertainment pot.

Dinner this evening is shishtawook chicken, HM burgers, salad, HM potato salad using hg chives. Last of the hg peas will go into a pea and mint salad. Tomatoes seem to be taking forever to ripen.

Mr T is paid on Monday, as is mortgage. Seems like such a huge amount still but during the course of this diary, it's reduced by over 50% :T

Whoops, after Monday's mortgage payment it will be less than 50% - my brain can't have been working this morning :)

I'd better crack on as I have to drive north for an hour :o

  • Evening, sitting in the garden and dinner is almost cooked.

Great time with a girlfriend over lunch (sandwich and salad).

Off out to see friends tomorrow :)

I'm FED up of sorting out school uniform for DS and then needing to arrange for it to be returned. We popped to M@talan late afternoon and he now has two pairs of trousers. Shoes to buy, along with shirts.

Shall I tackle the ironing tonight?

    Maybe not

Um, is that legit, :D or are you making that up? :D Please explain :D

Ha! SNAP! We had minted pea salad too! Bet yours was lush with using HG peas though. We had valoo frozen :D

    http://www.mamaslebanesekitchen.com/poultry/shish-tawook-chicken-kabob-recipe/

Whoops, I missed the space out between shish and tawook :). Sadly (for you) it's a chicken dish, but it's yum :):). Anyone wanting to try the recipe, follow the tip about keeping it warm, to retain moisture. I use a large piece of silver foil and make a loose 'bag' for it to sit in, whilst it rests.

They were delish - sadly all gone - all about the seasons and enjoying things whilst they're here. HG raspberries and HG strawberries - Mr T was making a cheesecake but ran out of time.
