Morning Tilly, and a very happy June to you!

I've not been around much this last fortnight - you would not believe the work levels I've found myself ploughing through. And I'm still not finished, but this week should be calmer.

Great news on the MF date - I'm as jealous as anything!! Ha ha! You so deserve it though. You're a shining beacon for a lot of us on here so finish the job and reaps the rewards!!

Good news on the personal training. I so want to do that but with my dodgy hip, I'm not sure it's a good idea! Perhaps I'll practice at home with a couple of cans of baked beans in an oven glove!!:rotfl:

I'm appalled to say that I'm still in bed! However, I worked til 2am last evening to "get the job done" so I deserve it.

Well, better get up and get the washing done as I think it's going to be a scorcher today.

I'll be updating my diary with my May financials so please pop by and offer your advice.:T

  • Hi Thistle, SW and gym - surely I'll end up being a sliver of my former self :rotfl:

I'm guessing you have an uptake due to holidays may? Get in shape before the bikini reveal.

I think with a dodgy hip, advice from a PT rather than doing anything on your own makes more sense. I can't remember if you have a date for surgery yet?

Morning SlowlyFading, happy June to you too - weather seems to have taken a turn for the better at last :T

Tilly, hope your dodgy hip recovers sooner with your current training regimen :-) Well done on the flight-delay-refund front :T

  • Hi US, don't worry about me, it's Thistle with the dodgy hip :) sorry Thistle, here's a smilie for you :(

My hips may creak but they still swivel well :rotfl:

Delighted with the compensation - we were both surprised the process was so swift.

  • Morning, feeling fairly achey breaky but looking forward to next PT session towards the end of the week.

DS packed and ready to go off on school trip - I'll clean his bedroom from top to bottom whilst he's away :)

Standard monthly sum to transfer abroad has left the bank. This is certainly saving us money.

Dinner this evening is HM beef, ginger and noodle stir fry with pak choy.

Sadly it's raining again today - grey sky is not very motivating.

    Have a good week, Tilly x x

Was sunny an hour later when I went by

  • It certainly was and DD and I had breakfast outside :)

Washing is on the line blowing around as I type.

Sorry for the mistake, that is what happens when I am speed-reading to catchup with the latest in your thread.

    Get well soon, Thistle :)

All the best for the PT Tilly and Mr T. I was going to sign up for PT for weight loss a couple of years ago, but the chap was a dunderhead who tried to re-arrange sessions at the last minute for times that I couldn't possibly manage. I suspect that hiring a PT is very hit and miss. Ah well, his loss ;)

Dinner sounds delicious. I'm a big fan of pak choi, one of the few vegetables that provides an available source of calcium!
