Good for you both getting psyched up for the gym and the trainer:eek:, go Tilly!lulabelle1 wrote: »Did you survive the personal trainer?
Joined the gym and paid for 10 PT sessions - works out at £12.50 each for an hr with the trainer but I think to start with that's what we need to give us both a kick up the bum. Whoops, with the 11 for 10 price it comes down to £11.37.
First session is early in the morning and I've booked for two classes already. Honestly I feel as though I'm on a wave - lets hope I don't crash and burn in a heap.
Mr T has also been asked to do a workout session every week with a mate and he's looking forward to that.
I feel as though we are coming out of hibernation - given it's dry here and the sun is struggling to come out, maybe that's why.
I'm just going to plant two gooseberry bushes - trained more like standard roses - L!dl this morning - somehow they leapt into my trolley :rotfl: It's a good job Mr T had his wallet as I didn't have a purse
Shopping was definitely minimal and I'm off to the market a little later.
Washing ready to go on the line - Mr T and DS are valeting the cars - go boys :T
Hope everyone is rain free

Just caught up with your thread Tilly. Great news on the future plans. May they be everything you wish for.

New leaf well and truly turned, DD and I have a few classes booked this coming week. DS is away as is Mr T and DD and I are making hay while the sun shines.
Mr T is cooking the duck as we speak, DS has gone for a quick cycle round the park.
Batteries are charging as DD has decided if she and I watch the TV we should play the Wii Fit game - aaagggghhhhhhhhhhhh
Ironing, next loads of washing, next lot of ironing all finished.
Money - nothing spent unnecessarily - food spends minimal - June entertainment budget used for personal trainer.
I think that's it now. May has come to a close, money is under control. The chapter of life changing stuff is starting. Fortune gave me some good advice recently and my first focus is to get fit, healthy and take time out for me, without feeling guilty
Thanks to everyone who reads and posts, it really and truly helps the journey.

Oh dear, am sure your idea of a disaster would still be a decent meal for the rest of us though :rotfl:A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

Well done on the new leaf, intention is halfway there

Getting fit is really important to me now, since I took up running almost 2 years ago I get quite grumpy without - might explain the last 2 weeks as not been able to get out since surgery
It does so much for my mental well being.
Great job on keeping the money under control

Just think of it as 'quality thinking time' Tilly. You need that if you want to make quality decisions

Or perhaps it's the universe's way of answering the family meal question ... one disastrous meal later might persuade the kids to prepare the meal on gym nights, feed themselves and have yours waiting for you when you get home? :rotfl:Stash busting 2014 45 / 60 (balls of yarn)!

OK, quick stop, shower, get dressed and off to church. First session with PT under our belt and we're off. Boy have we worked hard.
CV is definitely my weakest area but at least I've started.
Dare I say that although I feel completely bushed, I'm going to love it
We weighed ourselves this morning, will take measurements later on.
Right, I need to get a move on.
