Brilliant news. It will be here before you know it. Good luck with the email... Do put us out of our misery. Christmas in Spain!Paid off mortgage nine years early in 2013. Now picking and choosing our work to fit in with the rest of our lives!
Still thrifty though, after all these years:D0 -
August 2015 is amazing. Will your plans for an investment property affect your MF date?
Morning, a B2L would mean we borrow back money and it would change the end date if we stayed here but.........
We are looking at how we change our lives and it's highly likely that we will sell our house and buy 2 properties outright. One would be a 3 bed for us to live in and would still leave us with cash in the bank. As Mr T won't want to retire next year, it allows us to continue to save hard.
Truly there's a lot going on but life is for living and this way it accelerates our plans.

Thanks all for your comments - it seems pretty unbelievable to me. When Mr T was made redundant I thought we'd never be sorted.
Squirrel, not sure what Xmas plans GG has so I shouldn't tell her the place/hotel, she'd probably turn up
Habibiboo, that's exactly what I'm doing so have decided to work from home today and make some phone calls.

Morning GG, how come you have chocolate in the house? It's not Xmas, Easter, birthday time?
I've gone off the rails this week and eaten a bar of chocolate every day - reminder to me: don't buy kids chocolate for half term, as I eat it
Have a good day - it's stopped raining here but is a dark old morning so not very promising.

It wasn't in the house, it was on Sunday when we were out. He was doing man stuff and I nipped back to M&S and bought a meal deal as where we'd planned to eat was closed. (Note - contrary to what he said on my thread I bought itTilly_MFW_in_6_YRS wrote: »Morning GG, how come you have chocolate in the house? It's not Xmas, Easter, birthday time?
). I bought 2 Galaxy bars, gave him one, which he scoffed, then he grabbed my hand and ate the last piece of mine

Exciting times ahead in the Tilly household :T.A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

Good morning Tilly
Fingers crossed that e-mail arrives soon
Well done on August 2015 :T We're sooooo jealous - by next summer our outstanding mortgage should equal the amount we borrowed on our first mortgage in 2002... how depressing!
