Morning, two cups of tea in the garden and scrambled eggs on toast. I love being outside and it really lifts the spirits.
Washing on the one, one in the machine and one still to do. Beds changed, ironing from yesterday done and veg prepared for dinner - and breath.
Off to church shortly and looking forward to some contemplative time. There seems to be such a lot going on which requires brain power, I feel that my brain is slowing down
Money news - today will be a NSD, as will all of next week until Friday :T

I am sure my heart soars at times. Church was great and we are really challenged to think

I forgot to add yesterday that I roasted the veg ready for Moroccan soup and I'll just quickly make it up, then zip zip (that's what the Tilly household call using a stick blender) and we can eat outside. It's a little nippy but the desire to be in the garden is more important. We have some HM bread rolls which I can chuck in the oven for a few minutes.

We thought about eating outside and prepped the garden, washed down the furniture etc...but then elected to eat inside in the warm(er) kitchen!!:rotfl: Oh well, ready for a coffee outside tomorrow morning instead

I had breakfast outside - the area just outside my greenhouse is a real sun-trap and I have a little table and chairs out there. I had a lovely breakfast of muffin with yogurt and berries along with a large quantity of fresh coffee and a naughty square or two of dark chocolate.
Had to wear two jumpers though, there was a bit of a breeze.0 -

I must admit, if there's a bit of blue sky, I'm always grabbing a fleece/coat/jumper and having a cuppa in the gardenbrizzledfw wrote: »We thought about eating outside and prepped the garden, washed down the furniture etc...but then elected to eat inside in the warm(er) kitchen!!:rotfl: Oh well, ready for a coffee outside tomorrow morning instead
. We have a small table and two chairs tucked round the corner and it's a real sun trap :T

Morning, I think I forgot to post that the heating went off at the beginning of April
. It's a good job it's been mild since then. DS was sitting in shorts and T shirt the other day and suggested it was cold. 'then get some clothes on' was my response
Busy few days ahead but I think we're all in the same boat these days.
I'm just listening to the weather forecast and sounds like a good week. Hopefully I can grab some time in the evening to be in the garden.
Payday for me in a week and a week later for Mr T :T:T
I had an estate agent round to value the house the other day. As part of our planning we are considering selling, moving to a three bed and releasing capital to invest. I would say there's only a 33% chance of us doing it for a variety of reasons though. I was shocked that they suggested marketing the house at £525k. I can't imagine it selling for that.
This is the second agent in about six months and the increase surprised me. As the prices of the houses we'd move to are also going up, we don't really benefit, but it worries me that the economy could have another property boom. We've surely had enough boom/bust experiences.

It sounded to me like things were selling like hot cakes in your area.0

Hi T
I am not surprised by the increase at all. Over here in Brizzle it's crazy prices with not much stock about either so there is a note of desperation setting in..
Hoping to sit it out at the moment and continue paying the mortgage..at the moment we will hold off selling and 'benefit' from the paper increase. Not to say we won't kick in Plan B at some stage though and move and downsize. Much of it depends on the next few months at work and how I get on..
Have a great day. Off for my coffee in the garden now

Morning Alchemilla and Brizzle,
It really concerns me that prices go up so rapidly. I remember reading a book about the 10 year cycle of property prices boom/bust, cant recall the name and its not so bad when you are on the ladder - if you are fortunate to buy at the right time, but how on earth the kids of today will manage, I have no idea.
Sorry above sentence was verrrrrrrrry long
Mr T has a different week ahead and is away a couple of nights this week. I'm going to do all the ironing tonight and get it out of the way, however, I will be planting some more salad stuff early evening :T
I'm really going through some changes at the moment and very much hope I can achieve some different things in the next year. There seems to be a world of possibilities and options which I didn't realise were there - I'm sure that's because I am living life at a slightly slower pace.
Best wishes Tilly x2004 £387k 29 years - MF March 2033:eek:
