Hi Tilly, took my mum to see Miranda in Leeds a couple of weeks ago. She loved it. Who knew! Personally, I only found parts of it entertaining, as my sense of humour is drier than hers. Glad you and the kids enjoyed it though.
Your menus are fabulous. What I don't understand are the acronyms at the end, such as WR, JO, SW?
Tx
Hi Tahlullah, I know just what you mean about some sections of the Miranda show. We had a row of youngish teenagers behind us and they were roaring with laughter all the way through. Mr T and I did guffaw occasionally though, and the kids and I were laughing through most of it. I said it was like seeing a pantomime
WR = Waitrose
JO = Jamie Oliver
SW = Slimming World

Crispy Swede Bake sounds delicious! *dutifully copies it down for future use*

I don't think Miranda is very funny

I thought the funniest bit was hearing an arena of women singing 'I will survive' by Gloria Gaynor. How come we all know the words?Still striving to be mortgage free before I get to a point I can't enjoy it.

I'm not sure where today disappeared to

Dogs walked, shopping done and scanned (I'm sure S&S will wonder what we're living on). Soup made, filling for pasties made, chicken casserole cooked, trip to library, vacuumed up and downstairs. Weeding finished and bark sprinkled liberally.
Mr T is now busy cutting the lawns - boy did they need cutting :eek: I'm going to look through some cookery books and make notes for May.
On the list for late afternoon - make scones and savoury muffins.
SW shish kebabs with salad for dinner. DD is working overtime and I'm going to run a bath for her, ready for when she gets in. She's been a busy bee with revision etc - she could do with a treat
I think that's all for now.

[QUOTE=Tilly MFW in 6 YRS;
Sadly we won't be having them in this country so I have time to plan but even he is talking about them now. I'm slightly worried about our hounds and how they will react, but who knows what the future holds.

We introduced hounds to hens very gently and they are all now fine ... in fact the dogs are very protective and instantly responsive if the girls put out a distress call!
It's hilarious watching them together, especially as each species clearly thinks they are superior to the other!
