    Hi Tilly,

Just to let you know that I'm back from my jollies. I told Cornwall you wanted to go but were a little busy. Cornwall understood!!!:rotfl:

I'm so impressed with all the walking you're doing. It's one of the things I missed once my hip gave in and was giving me pain. I'm seeing my physio on Tuesday so hopefully they'll give me the go ahead to start a little exercise of my own. I so need to get fit, and walking works for me.

About 15 years ago, I had to catch a train to work and the station was 2 miles from home and work was 2 miles from the other station. I was doing 40 miles a week and I was as fit as a butchers dog!!!

Yes I agree with brizzle. I thought it very impressive, the amount of stuff you managed to get done before 11am. :T
I guess that's one of the benefits of being an early bird. :)

  • Brizzle and TattyCath, I'm not sure how we managed to fit so much in before 11am. However by 8.50, the dogs were walked, the shopping done, DD dropped at work, the washing machine had been on twice, the tumble drier once and the Moroccan dish made and in the SC - and breathe.........

    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Habibiboo, we will definitely be having R&R but in the form of church and then over friends for late lunch. Kids are coming too :)

Thistle, you made me laugh with your butcher's dog comment :). I've spoken to Mr T a few times whilst you've been in Cornwall, about going down. We will be once he lands a job :):):)

HDK, although I haven't posted as much given life seems to have stolen gazillions of hours recently - I'm loving seeing how much weight you've lost - fantastic and you must feel brilliant :T

Quick update on money - shopping came to £26 and then I blew it by adding 2 x 2 rib eye steak packs from L!dl as they were on offer, new total £38. Not bad though.

Whilst walking yesterday the chorus from the birds was outstanding. You can definitely tell spring is close. The dogs were off their leads and running as fast as they could, chasing and barrelling into each other. So lovely to see them like that.

No time for gardening today and although it looks OK now, the weather forecast is not great. We haven't walked the dogs yet as my feet are killing me  Would it be wrong to walk them after church, in my slippers :rotfl:

Two things are on my list to buy Mr T when he finds a job - good quality pair of slippers and a new pair of trainers.

Right, it's Sunday treat time and we are having cinnamon and raisin bagels (never seen these in L!dl before) and a cuppa.

    Have a great day, Tilly x x

    Hi Tilly,
Sounds like you've got a lovely day planned - it's obviously your weekend to chillax. I, on the other hand have a day at work planned beginning at 10:30 with an Opportunities Event to hopefully bring on a few members who wish to be Consultants!
Then straight home after that (takes 40 minutes!!) to begin my Month End. Reports and planning! Yay!!! Not!!!
Still, I'll be able to get all the holiday washing done whilst I'm about it.
OH coming round this evening for dinner.

Then tomorrow, all h3ll breaks loose. Going to be so busy earning pennies this week.

    Enjoy your day!

  • Evening, what a fabulous weekend.

Joyous church service, good walk and in trainers not slippers :rotfl:, late lunch with a load of chums and much laughter. Life doesn't get much better than this :)

I have jobs to catch up on but they can wait until sometime in the week.
