I miss having a study. My house is too small to have one realistically, so I work from a corner of the back room downstairs in my little 2 up 2 down. The clutter just spreads though and takes over the whole room. It drives me spare. That's what you get when you work from home.
I envy your kids!!!

Wow, you've got so much done, Tilly. I spent the weekend out in the garden and got loads done but there's still loads to do. I am doing it all by myself so it's going to take some time.
For plants and pots for the garden - if you want nice pots you will obviously have to shop around or look at car boots. Aldi had some gorgeous big terracotta pots for a fiver last year and both Aldi and Lidl have lots of good value plants and seeds. If you want any-old-pot for now, plastic ones, lots of garden centres have freebies available at the front of the store - they always have far too many.
For plants, it's actually quite easy to grow your own from seed, especially annuals. Also, if you get friendly with other gardeners, they are usually happy to give you some plants that they've thinned out / divided. This is a good time of year for dividing perennials such as geranium, aster etc. You could get some freebies that way - maybe ask on Freecycle.
Good luck with it all, I love a bit of gardening myself.0 -
That was a very dynamic weekend. Wow!0

Hi Alchemilla, Sunday was glorious and we achieved loads. It was as if we didn't want to stop and given the months of grey, rain and cold it was such a relief to be working
Hope you're feeling back to normal now.

Morning, just about to walk the hounds. I'm not posting as much as RL is pretty tough right now. Work is bordering on insane and I'm worrying about Mr T still not finding a job (he's been close but no offer yet).
On a money front, only necessary spending is happening and we are living a busy but simple life.
Dinner last night was HM pork meatballs in a tomato/veg sauce with pasta - Nigella recipe. Used up one package Xmas sausage meat from the freezer.
We've all been through times when we don't post as much and I'm sure normality will return. I miss catching up with diaries but maybe like Natty, there are periods when there's just too much happening.
