  • Good morning, back to work with an early ish start. Lodgers money has arrived, a small £co payment which went straight to mortgage, and one CC DD has happened this morning. There is a second CC DD to come out in the middle of June. Thankfully the money is in the CC savings pot, as I have transferred money to the pot each time I have used the card which is a relief. I have shifted enough to repay the DD payment. The rest will stay where it is and I will switch once the DD occurs.

I need to buy some chicken for dinner this evening - will pop in to Lid! on the way home and I can pick up chorizo as well.

Have a good day, Tilly x

Lodgers money will arrive tomorrow due to BH and I am paid in two weeks. £5 HX money arrived this month - I forgot to post about that. DH has opened his account but I don't feel I can risk opening a 3rd, so will have to settle for £10 per month.

    We have 3 :D shhhhhh!!!

Quick question re: rocket if you don't mind. Mine is looking a bit weedy and is yellow at the ends, what do I do???

Hiya Cath, sounds like it may have bolted. Rocket is similar to lettuce in that you can cut a few times cutting, but does have a short life. Best thing to do is plant a row every couple of weeks and then you can be eating some and growing some at the same time :)

    Good luck.

If you have 3 Halifa@ accounts, may have a go. Did you have any problems or just opened them all on line? Thx

Afternoon, not sure what is happening with the weather but beginning to wish I had stowed away in GGs hand luggage :o

No room in mine I'm afraid. Probably was in Mr GG's but you'd have had to snuggle up next to his undies. Trust me, staying here in the rain would have been preferable :D.

Back for a few hours, Mr GG & I fed up with rain already!!!
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

  • Morning GG, there were certainly a few occasions when I wished we had gone away, only due to the rain - cold, wet and June :eek:

    Back to the grindstone :)

Good morning, dog walking off the schedule for this morning. One of them is decidedly off colour so peace and quiet needed :(

Bread making today and Mr Tilly is making a couple of loaves whilst I do some ironing ironing in a few minutes.

I cannot believe the rain and cold - it's June and the weather is missable. I don't mind if it's not hot but I do miss the blue sky.

Onwards and upwards, can't let the weather get in the way of having fun. DH is taking DD out today, and DS tomorrow. That way they both have some 1:1 time with Dad. We all do things together but we are looking for ways to have individual time with the kids as they are growing up rapidly. I am off bike riding in the rain  with the other one. That will have to be after work though but we will be doing regardless of the weather.

Have a great day and at least the veg will be enjoying the weather :)
