  • How decadent you are! Very jealous of your midweek fun,

Still thrifty though, after all these years:D
  • Evening SSS, it really was one of those impromptu evenings where everything works well. Truly wonderful few days ahead as we have a number of functions and parties. Looking forward to them and also to an early night on Monday :rotfl:

  • Morning Tilly,

so hot up here that i couldn't sleep last night, well not until an hour before the alarm went off:rotfl:.
Explained to DS yesterday that at 22 degrees it was three times as hot as it had been the week before, phew.

Having a major barney with school and that probably didn't help the sleep.

Anyway well done on your financial juggling, this mortgage collapsing before our very eyes is wonderful to witness and i'm desperate for you to do that recalculation in your signature!

  • Morning PWD, that's funny as Mr Tilly and I were just talking about the temperature difference - over the course of one week, there was a 20 degree variance  Very warm last night.

Sorry to hear you didn't sleep though. When you have things on your mind it's difficult to stop the chat in your head - fingers crossed for a good night this evening.

Will get the calculator out after a cuppa - Tilly x

  • Morning, a few changes needed to the menu plan due to the change in weather :). BBQ on the cards for tonight - lots of potatoes to use up so spicy potato wedges too.

Tomorrow is the next money moving day and after that we are pretty much done - it's then a case of keeping focussed on the normal spends. Surveys have taken a backseat whilst we have been doing some work at home, so they need to start up again. Normality won't return fully until Monday.

Have a good day and enjoy the sun :)

I think there is a bit of poetic licence there as I didn't see much sun coming down the M1 this morning - 17 when I left the house, 14 at Toddington - but good things coming :T

What a fantastic weekend - I had the day off yesterday as we had another celebration, then BBQ with friends tonight, then another party tomorrow - cant see me wanting to go to work on Monday :rotfl:

Have done loads of gardening, pots, veg etc and all set for friends to arrive, in fact not true, I have to jump in the shower but TMI :o

Managed to get to Morrisdaughters and buy 6 litre bottles of Pimms for another party we will be having @ £10 each so was extremely relieved - I thought I had missed the offer.

I knew the last couple of weeks in May and first week of June were going to be expensive, but we are having a lovely time and are all being frugal wherever possible :T

Have a good evening and enjoy the blue sky Tilly x x
