Successful B&M shop and they had some good loo rolls for fab price, so have stocked up. Decided to do a tesco tin stock up to help get to £50 to get the 5p per litre, ony to come back and read about Morris-daughters 12p starting Monday

Great dog walk this morning, all the washing is done and most of the ironing. Even watched a movie a while ago which was good fun.
Peaceful Saturday afternoon and my admin job is complete :T:T:T

Sunday afternoon and preparing for the week ahead. A few jobs being carried out at home over the next two weeks, so I am cooking Monday and Tuesday evening meals this afternoon. Will be working from home most of the week, so will be able to do some little jobs in between calls.
I am loving being ahead of the curve (thats for you ATT) in terms of running the house - I don't like to feel overwhelmed by tasks, so tend to keep ahead of them. No little tasks hiding any more so that's good news.
Quite a few money switches tomorrow and I can update my signature which is motivating.
Have a good Sunday afternoon. I am off to read some books.

Hi there Tilly, sounds like you are having a lovely weekend and I know doing the cooking for the coming week won't be a chore for you

lol re ahead of the curve, I'm so far behind said curve at the moment that I can't even see the tail end of it never mind get ahead of it. I'm still very under the weather but think I might just be starting to come out of it as a couple of things that were wrong with me have started to improve now that I'm into the next set of antibiotics
After a dismal day yesterday when it realy did seem we'd skipped spring and summer it's lovely now so I'm venturing out with my mother for Sunday lunch so hope you manage to get into the garden - or for a walk - too. It feels like it's taken me ages to get ready to go out, you know what it's like when everything seems to take it out of you
On a more positive note I've just updated my signature with this month's OP so will try and update my thread later with the latest scores on the doors
Regards

Oh, the weather is horrible here - cold and very dull, and the only thing to be thankful for is that it isn't raining.
I have some washing on the line, but I can see it's not going to dry. I think I might put it in the TD shortly. I just can't be bothered faffing around re hanging it all inside.Borrowed £150,000 in an offset tracker mortgage in May 2007 - MFD May 2041 (67)

Hi ATT, you really have had a bad bug. Do take care and I do hope you have taken time off work to recover fully. Am thinking of you.
Have had a great time in the kitchen and the kids have just come in and said "Mom that smells great"

Hi Sepa, the wind is blowing, the sky is grey and it's cold. We haven't had any rain but not nice enough to be outside

Thoroughly fed up with the weather and could not hang any washing outside at all
Have a good week and good luck with your shopping. I checked out both of the dresses and they both look fab - 2nd one looks extremely elegant.

Good morning, money switches made and mortgage (including OS savings) stands at £272k :T:T:T. Goal achieved.
Next target is £250k - it's hard to believe the mortgage is finally dropping after being with the Spanish bank for so long, and having so many problems with them. Aiming to leave 2012 with an outstanding mortgage offset to £236k - that will make such a difference mentally as it is a huge debt to carry. On this basis we will meet the goal of 4/8/16, so I really can start to bring that forward now. Given the money we have wasted over the years this is a huge relief. Having a diary and committing to update mostly daily has helped to keep my eye on the ball. Definitely would not have managed all these changes without :money: Thank you
end 2013 at £170k

Have to edit and finish in a while:
DD wants to apply for Saturday and Xmas jobs after her birthday this year - so her light relief this week is to finish her CV. No idea how you go about this in today's climate but she can start checking the web sites and going into some places in the local town.
On a selfish note, this is likely to prevent us going away for Xmas and I don't feel too happy about that.
Off to start my day now - no walk for the dogs yet as loads of things happening at home - Tilly x

Hi Tilly and friends
Just popping in. Sorry haven't been posting, been away for work a lot and so have been neglecting the diaries!
Great to read about all the goings on.I agree re lodgers...I think it's a great idea. Meal planning is also the way to go as well. And that mortgage..it's coming down so so fast..well done you! I am hoping to clear mine in 8 years...if you can do yours in 4 that'll be awesome.
Have a great eve
