Mr Tilly and I are both relieved that the mortgage is dropping now. The offset is a godsend and seeing the daily interest drop from £45 per day has been AMAZING. £27 OP per day by doing nothing :T

Still a long way to go but achieving this by 2016 is gong to make life very different. To know that we can do some serious saving after that is a big plus. We have both grown up finally, and given our age that's quite mad. Better late than never though

Good morning, what a beautiful start to the day. Will be off for a dog walky/run in a short while. Does the heart good to wake up to the sun. :T:T

Money switches performed again today - DH is paid at the end of the week and a couple more moves to do then and after that all major jobs are finished at home. Can't face any more disruption to my home - makes me feel very jittery and irritated. However the house will look better as a result and it may have helped its value slightly.

If DD gets a job, once she has secured the job, she can state that she has holidays already booked for Christmas and I'm almost sure they are obliged to honour them.

What a fabulous evening. Lodgers didn't make it back for dinner, so we have had a party evening in the garden. Fab meal, lovey evening, good bottle of wine and OJ - marvellous Tilly x x

What a great evening, lodgers came in not long after posting last night and then we had a Wii gaming session. Very tired this morning as it was a pretty late night for in the week.

Sun is shining and I am working from home so can get my washing on the line. Such a wonderful feeling.
